The duck was delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes were quite disappointing and lacked flavor. Would only recommend coming here for the duck.

the average dish was average at best. it was fair flavour, a little bit smaller than expected portions.
peking duck was a hair over average tasting
but considering the price and supposedly their star dish, it was kinda disappointing.
i’ve had better at more affordable places. Perfect Chinese restaurant in scarborough comes to mind.
tea pot looked gross, struggled to pour ours.. servers dropped dishes off half hazardly tilted off another plate. They chose to use really large serving dishes but small tables.

been there, done that - prob won’t be back.

Food was okay the highlight was the duck and that was it. Not enough servers so service was minimal. The worst part of the whole dining experience was the washroom. It was absolutely disgusting with oily floor (i almost slipped twice). Theres a kitchen garbage bin right outside the washroom and it was overflowing. The restaurant’s management is clearly lacking and they obviously did not have enough servers for a busy Friday night service. Dining room was incredibly loud as well so hard to enjoy the food when it was so uncomfortable. Will not be returning.

Very bad service, and barely prepared dishes. The salad is OK.

About two months ago, I ate roast duck for two days in a row, one day from a barbecue restaurant and one day from a big pear🍐. The next day I started having diarrhea. I had diarrhea for a week, but taking medicine didn't help. I thought it was my fault for eating roast duck for two days in a row. Yesterday I ordered a takeaway of sliced duck. I pooped it right away after eating it, and it lasted all night. Now it was the duck that was the problem. I probably won’t eat it again in the future

I visited this store a few years ago. During the epidemic, the roast duck was not available for takeout and credit cards were not accepted, so I just left. I passed by after a few years and wanted to have a bite to eat, but it turned out there was no heating inside. The waiter said the heating had been broken for a few days. It was January and many customers were eating inside wearing down jackets. Still no credit cards are accepted, and there are no discounts for this environment. I think the Google score of 3.4 for this kind of store is too high, but it's a pity that I can't give it zero score.

This place probably has the best peking duck - the pancakes are very thin and well separated so they don't stick together and the duck skin is very crispy. There is also a decent portion of sauce and sides to go with the duck so we didn't have to order anything extra. The seating was a bit disorganized and we waited ~1 hour before we were sat. The bathrooms were pretty dirty and the sinks / toilets were't working the best when I went so would appreciate a bit more cleanliness.

Even with a reservation we need to wait for almost an hour to be seated.

Nobody gives you any hints while you are waiting.

Not recommended.

Good size and portion for the price, don’t have to wait long after the order is put in. Service is excellent, fulfilled our requests at a timely fashion.

Why can’t members who bought it from Markham Daya Li use it here? Why do your two stores have the same name? Why should consumers pay for the mistakes I made? The waiter's attitude was very good, but the food was not as delicious as the big duck pear in Markham.

As soon as the burrito was brought out, I found black mold spots. I double-checked that they were moldy black spots and not other normal food colors! To drink beer, I brought two white glasses stained with oil and water mixed with unknown substances! After informing the waiter, there was no explanation or apology! I was so disgusted that for the safety of my life, I really didn’t dare to go there again. This is purely a personal experience and personal feeling. Please treat this business objectively and rationally. Long live your understanding!
