Good place to meet friends, go on a date, do some work, or study. Highly recommend the Apple danish (if you love apples) and the mushroom focaccia was right up my alley. The chocolate book was so-so bc I didn't like the cream filling, so I probably wouldn't order that again. Overall great experience EXCEPT the A/C here is ON BLAST. Was I the only one who was shivering in here?! I had to get extra hot water after my hojicha latte bc I was freezing. It was actually so uncomfortable and it felt like the wind was right on me. If you come here and plan to stay more than 10 minutes, bring a sweater!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best dessert and bakery shops in the Markham area—perhaps the best. It completely outclasses those outdated Hong Kong–style bakeries, and even by the standards of China’s top-tier cities like Shanghai today, it remains highly competitive and outstanding.

Have been DUO’s loyal customer for years, but recently had bad experiences twice in a row.
First time I ordered a bunch of products, the staff forgot to give me a sandwich and reheat all of my pastries which I only requested to heat one sandwich🤣I had to go back the next day to grab the rest one but they don’t have any apologize.

After two weeks I ordered a Mont Blanc ice-cream cake by phone, they double checked the details and message I requested, but turns out they gave me the wrong flavor with other person’s message on it. (My husband picked the cake and he said this cake is surely under his number and name)…🤣I called but no one answered the phone and they didn’t call back either for any explanation. I messaged on Instagram and obviously no one read.

I do like DUO’s products but the service obviously needs a lot improvement. I am very very very disappointed.

Delicious desserts and pastries, especially the mango soft ice cream—rich in mango flavor. Prices are slightly higher than average, but you're paying for the pleasant ambiance and quality experience.

The cafe is very nice and beautiful a lot more expensive compared to other high end cafe's around the GTA. I have come here twice and both time I felt that the staff are rushing to take my order like they don't want anyone standing in line or thinking what to order. They also do not smile or look so greeting I found this with both encounters. I suggest management have a talk with there staff and to train them to give customers time to make orders in this case they will not rush the customer and the customer will actually order more items without being rushed to the cash register.

The premier patisserie in the area. Dangerously addictive desserts, strong flavourful lattes, and tasty sandwiches. Great place to catch up with friends or pick up dessert.

Desserts have sophisticated layered flavours. From pistachio mousse to the perfect bitterness of the tiramisu. The desserts do not simply rely on being sweet. Perfection when paired with a hot latte.

Clean, bright decor is very welcoming. Parking can be a little limiting during peak hours.

Delicious fine cake! Beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients. We ordered the Matcha late for our kid see that they put real Match and milk in it: good quality.

Small place. During our visit, it was full so there no place to sit.

Service and product quality very good. However I am surprised that there is a $1 surcharge for decaf drinks. This is a bit excessive when other chains do not overcharge.

The services are lacking a smile, the pastry is general, and the coffee is only good.

When you enter, the interior design looks very modern and advance. You entered through two glass doors and you can see their pastries on the display case. Everything is spaced nicely. We ate a vanilla custard that was tasty. The filling taste like egg with vanilla extract and the outer shell is crisp. Overall, it was a good experience to try!

I pretty bakery with tasty creations.

I like a lot of the matcha options here, so I try to get a lot of them. I tried the matcha pastry and it had a nice sweet taste. And it was also nice and flaky too.

I also tried the cannelle which had a crispy outside and a soft inside.

Overall I liked the pastries and will probably try some more of them.
