Nobady don’t helping
Sometimes they r lack of things
I had a frustrating experience shopping at this No Frills location today. After spending time picking up my items, I opted not to take a shopping cart, thinking I could quickly use the self-checkout. However, the self-checkout area, which is usually open until 8 PM, was inexplicably closed by 7:40 PM—nearly an hour and a half before the store’s closing time.
To make matters worse, there were only four cashiers working during a busy evening rush. Many shoppers, including myself, had to wait in long lines, some of which were filled with customers who had full carts. I ended up standing in line for over 15 minutes just to pay for a few items.
This lack of organization and planning made for a very unpleasant shopping experience. If the store knows they’ll have a rush during evening hours, they should have more staff working the evening rush!
Usually, the section of ATMs where we can pay for our purchases is closed for various reasons.
The place, like most No Frill is unorganized and not all items are stocked
It is 7:16 PM And I have been standing in line for half an hour. The self checkout was closed at 7pm and all customers were forced to checkout at regular cashiers. Why they had single items only a few items or a cart filled with items, everyone joined lines that blocked the entire front area. This is unacceptable. Why create a self checkout area and not use it.
Very clean place that had great food at reasonable prices
Usually when I shop here the produce is pretty good. Today there was a huge table of red seedless grapes that were all mouldy and squishy and oozing liquid. They were in horrible unacceptable condition. I asked the worker about it and he said the manager told them to leave the grapes as is. This was appalling to me and unacceptable. Shame on the manager.
No Frills offers decent prices on groceries, but the shopping experience can be hit-or-miss. The store layout feels a bit crowded, and stock levels aren’t always reliable. Good for budget shopping, but not exceptional.
Unprofessional Service and Poor Problem Resolution
Today Nov, 16, 2024, (Saturday at 10 AM), I visited the No Frills grocery store and noticed that the cashier charged me more than the unit price for tomatoes. When I pointed out the mistake, the cashier directed me to another cashier (Cashier 1) to resolve the issue.
I explained the situation to Cashier 1, but she insisted I join the lineup again. I expressed that this was the store's mistake, and I shouldn't have to waste my time waiting. According to Canadian law, I was entitled to have the item price waived, but she refused to honor this.
I requested to speak to the manager, George, who was rude and disrespectful. After explaining the issue, they did not waive the item's price as required but only refunded the price difference.
This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I expected better customer service and adherence to consumer protection laws.

Friendly service from staff.
The weekly flyer discounted items are usually low or out of stock.
Loved the place it's best for getting all the vegetables fresh
Today, my father, who does not speak English, was at the NoFrills, when he was approached by a PC Financial representative about opening a credit card. Despite clearly seeing that my father did not understand him, the representative continued to pressure him into opening an account and he opened an account for my father. The representative’s name was either Rash or Vash. This behavior is highly unprofessional, and I’m deeply concerned about how a representative could be trained to deceive people for personal gain. I believe this individual should be held accountable for his actions.
Very nice store...polite staff
