Frankie's Nashville Hot Chicken

Frankie's Chicken in Ottawa usually offers pretty decent food. The service is terrible and they bait people into BOGO (buy one get one free) deals that they do not honor. Today they have a BOGO banner on their ubereats profile but there is no offer. And I ordered the BOGO last week and they cancelled it without notice after making me wait an hour and inconveniencing the uber driver. That's B.S.

Stay away from this place. The minute you bring the sandwich to your mouth, the fishy, putrid stench of old oil hits your nose. What a disgrace. Actually charging people money to put this in their bodies. You people should be ashamed of yourself.
You're lucky I was desperate enough to order from UBEReats because had I been there in person I'm sure if I had one look at the people behind the counter, I'd have been out of there!

Food poisoning. Don’t eat here.

I didn’t realize the food was being made/picked up at a Lonestar Restaurant. The pickles on the chicken sandwich were soft and mushy, bun was moist/wet and the chicken was cooked in what appeared to be old oil, strange smell/taste. Way over priced. Curly fries were cold and small portion, onion rings were small portion and full of breading.Not worth the money, avoid Frankies and just get something from Lonestar, it’s much better ?never getting that again.

Their chicken sandwiches are bomb ?

The first two times I had Frankie's Hot Chicken I enjoyed it and highly recommended it however may last two orders have shown that things are going downhill. One of the biggest issues is the lack of Nashville style sauce on the chicken. The first couple times the chicken was completely covered in sauce but the last order there was just a bit of sauce applied to the chicken before the bun was put on leaving 80% of the chicken without sauce and nothing more than a chicken tender sandwich. When the manger at Lone Star responded to my critique she said the sauce was applied per specifications and tried to blame lack of quality on 3rd party delivery services. The chicken that arrives in your order will definitely not match the pictures from Frankie's social media pages or website. Come on Lone Star you can do better!

first time I ordered, I think i ordered either mild or hot, and was like "it's ok" but boy let me tell you, I ordered the hot af level of heat yesterday...the burn sensational, but today I'm hurting on my toilet😂 don't reccomend if your stomach can't handle super spicy stuff, but would order again a few small food critiques my chicken, was a little dry and lacking a crunch would suggest doing something about that, the slaw doesn't really taste like anything I get very little hint of the dill in it, for it being named "dill with it" and should imo have a larger portion size for the 20$ price tag in the combo, or at least include the drink

The food is disgusting. Don't let the pictures fool you. They have a tendency to fry all their food in spoil and rancid oil. The taste makes you want to vomit. This happens 90% of the time and whoever is the chefs needs to be fired today. I would hate to see their kitchen because this level of incompetence is unacceptable and who knows what goes on in that dirty restaurant. The chicken strips tasted like dirt. The fries are dipped in reused oil. The onion rings are the only thing that were somewhat delicious and yet the serving size is for ants.This place needs to be shut down and not a soul would miss it. Avoid and save your time and money, there is better food everywhere.Do better, Frankies.

My boyfriend and I found this place on Google to try the curly fries, the place was so hard to find, we drove around three times to find it. Don't know if it was the day, there were very few waiters in the shop, after a few minutes of waiting we finally ordered and was told 5-10 minutes for the food to be ready. My boyfriend and I got back to the car and we wanted the hottest and freshest chips, so after five minutes he went back to pick up our meal. But I waited in the car for 15 minutes and he didn't come back, so I called him. The lady who took our order finally realized that my boyfriend was waiting at the door and asked him "what are you waiting for?" Yes, the fries were already ready and we went to pick up our food long ago, it's just me Still got cold fries.

Sent me someone else's order. Then were unreachable for a refund on the phone. At least the Barrhaven location doesn't seem to care about the food they make or their customers.
