If travel to Greece is not in your immediate plans, visiting the Greek Market Cafe in Oakridge offers a truly Greek experience. Rich assortment of Greek products and delicacies. My favourite spanakopita and galaktoboureko are always freshly made daily. Worth a detour also for their perfect Greek coffee. Efcharisto team GMC!😊

Came on a weekend and it was packed especially when patio was opened. Got a box of desserts to go and they were good but it was too sweet. I really liked the spanakopita. Coffee was also good.
What a difference from when the café opened and visiting it two months ago.
As a fellow Greek , who grew up in Toronto and lived in Greece, this has to be the worst Greek food establishment . It’s actually quite embarrassing to all Greek food lovers who love good Greek food and go there and order a gyro plate don’t even attempt to see what you’ll get, you’ll receive everything but meat soggy, onions, soggy, tomatoes, disgusting chicken gyro from the bottom of the barrel that supposedly measures there portions …. Lets be honest if your looking for the best greek food it would have to be Athens on the Danforth small quaint and authentic… save your dollars and an upset stomach … to bad really quite a shame.

I was one of the customers that witnessed this interaction last night and let me clarify that this person that wrote this review was EXTREMELY RACIST towards all staff members and recording the manager while yelling at her. I always come here and never experienced anything wrong. So sad to see crazy people try and ruin a family owned business.

Greek Market Café is a must visit café, restaurant, pastry shop and supermarket.
Don’t forget to try their freshly made danishes and sweets. For sure their ice cream is highly recommended. Having said that, café has tasty sandwiches for you to get a bite and enjoy.
Parking area is large and comfortably placed for customers.
