Tiny restaurant with decent food. However, tea is overpriced compared to competitors. 4.80 CAD for a tiny cup feels like a rip off.

Always on the hunt for Hong Kong food, and we checked out this spot😍We tried their Signature Onion Oil Chicken, the Chicken was very juicy and tender, it’s got a TON of Scallion Oil on it, paired with Steamed Rice, so good! We also got their Portuguese Style Pork Chop in Curry on Rice, the Curry was on the sweeter end but delicious, the Pork Chop was tender as well, loved it! Both meal came with a Drink or Soup but not both like other spots, overall still decent in value.

The best milk tea in town. Ever since the first era in the 90s, the uncles all retired and now the milk tea sucks. Wing Tai milk tea exactly like Tsui Wah. Thanks for coming to Canada at the right time. Others milk tea is Cafe decarol 😂 high sap sap 😂. Service is very good too btw. But Cha Chan Tang I only care about food.

First time there.
Service was good. Food is not bad in general. Beef fried rice noodle 干炒牛河 is usually the 1st one I would try, pretty good. Baked pork chops was not bad, could be better. Milk tea, hot, was nice.

Many HK style Chaa Chang Teng popping up in the north, the usual affair, the usual service [a little busy, minimum greeting, no frills] clean space and tables, close to each other, if you talk alittle louder your neighbouring table will hear your entire conversation.
Had curry beef, not too bad, not great, no veggies - just some, mashed up tiny carrots in the sauce. it cane with a huge bowl of white rice. Price is alright for today's standard.

My review is - its quick, its alright, its in the middle. Not bad, not great either. 😄

Rude service! It is typical service in Hong Kong. The waitress is not willing to provide service but they will ask for tips. The food quality is okay but the portion is so small compared other Hong Kong Cafe.

If you want the taste of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, I think this restaurant is worth recommending. Milk tea has its own unique tea aroma, unlike other restaurants that only have a sweet and milky taste. The beef satay is a diced dish, the satay sauce is flavorful, the meat is tender, and the noodles are just like most tea dishes. The noodles are like a diced dish with no leftover flavor.

Food was the reason we visited, therefore, we rated 3 stars. TO get to 5-stars, the HK Milk Tea needs to improve a lot as I had other HK Restaurant where their HK Milk Tea has real taste and enough milk. This location isn't the case unfortunately because no tea taste, just milk !

About the positive, the bun seems to be home-made which earns my 4 stars. The Atmosphere is really not for everyone as the seating is like HK, tight and packed, shoulder to shoulder, overheard conversation from other people sitting in the next table. The servers were nice but they rushed you.

Last but not least, I think overall is ok to visit but not regularly. Price is not cheap, they charge same price as other HK restaurant. I guess since there is NO competition around the area, people settle whatever. As well, I don't think tips should be paying much as this is like a take out place - eat and run, not much of a service to justify.

The tableware was collected too quickly, and it was clear that someone was waiting to enter the restaurant, but the whole dining experience was uncomfortable, or maybe the owner wanted to make people feel like they were still living in Hong Kong! We fully understand that this is the employee's job, but we also have to pay tips as a reward. The whole thing is not appropriate. We would rather go to a less busy restaurant to enjoy our meal!

My friend has been telling me about this place, and how there is one in Hong Kong. We decided to try it out.

We ordered the following:

1. Baked chicken and mushroom with spaghetti (cream sauce) + iced milk tea - Lots of cream sauce, but no taste.

2. Portuguese style fish fillet in curry on rice + iced milk tea - Curry was watery, no flavour, but very spicy.

3. Fried thick rice noodle with beef + iced coffee and milk tea - Beef was on the dry side. Noodles were fresh.

Generous portion sizes, but the dishes were a hit and miss. Would only return for the milk tea.

Great little HK Cafe place.
Line up tablet available at door.
Small seating area.
Lunch combo is HK portion (small but good) around $14 each with rice and soup or drink.
Great and very speedy service.
Delicious smooth milk teas.
