Hug Sushi Richmond Hill (Sushi Takeout)

Ordered the 100 piece sushi-sashimi-maki platter. The quality of the fish was good. Very fresh and the price was more than reasonable 80$ for 100 pieces. Will definitely order again from here. The only downside was that the service was not great . Our pickup time was for 6pm and our order was only ready at 6:30pm. The workers also seemed quite flustered with the orders as it didn’t seem so organized. I’m guessing they were more busier than usual since it was thanksgiving weekend. Do recommend for the quality of the sushi and the incredible value!

I used to be a regular here, often purchasing 808 platter. Just purchased again this week and this place is now blacklisted for the following reasons:

1/5 Food: The fish and shrimps are not fresh anymore - colouration and flavour screams do not eat this. Quality went down drastically. I also had to drink a lot of water after eating their sushi.

1/5 Service: I ordered it online and waited for an hour. Went to the store to ask for a status update and they said the platter is already ready… I didn’t even get any notification on my phone so my time would have been wasted more if I didn’t go to ask.

1/5 Atmosphere: It’s just a pick up spot

Ordered the $55 platters, salmon are not fresh at all, looking grey and dull. Other sushi and sashimi tasted bland too, not fresh. Very disappointed! Will never come back!

The sushi is not taste good, the price is cheap but not worth to try.

Always 5/5. I order from here at least once a month. Fish is fresh and prices cannot be beat. Sashimi is always cut thick. Sushi and rolls have just the right amount of rice. I will keep on coming back here for my sushi fix.
