Hunan Tearoom offers authentic Hunan cuisine with very spicy dishes that can be adjusted for spice level. The food is excellent, with above-average menu items and a good buffet. Service is friendly and efficient, even during busy times. Portions are generous, and cold lemon water is provided instead of hot tea. Parking can be difficult, especially at lunchtime, but overall it is considered one of the better restaurants in Richmond.
