IL FORNELLO, Richmond Hill

I've been this restuarant serveral times a year. Their food quality is consistent, and the service is warm. Although there was a bit miscommunication today, Michael and Lia corrected quickly and in a very professional way. Highly recommand EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA and PIZZA FICHI.

Exceptional service from Greg. I dine out frequently, both locally and in many different countries, and I can confidently say I’ve never experienced service quite like his. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made the entire dining experience exceptional. Greg sets a standard that is truly rare to find, and he is a real credit to the restaurant.Thank you we will come back definitely.

So many vegan options! I didn't tell our server I was vegan, but he noticed I was only ordering from the vegan menu and brought out a vegan dessert for my birthday. Great service!

We had a wonderful time here. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was prepared and presented excellently. The Chicken Parmigiana was especially amazing. Our server, Olessia, was incredibly kind and hospitable. She provided excellent service, and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed the food and service. Pizza and chicken parm were good. Honestly, can do without the $20 cake serving fee. Had the cake at home. Not in a rush to return for birthday celebrations.

Me and my buddy decided to drop in and pay a visit to the Richmond Hill Il Fornello location. Great idea as our entire experience was incredible. Our server, Gregory, was exceptional. Great service, even better customer service, followed by excellent food. Wonderful experience and will be back. I strongly suggest others to pay this location a visit.

This was my first time dining here, and I was incredibly impressed. The ambiance is beautifully warm, cozy and relaxing. The Salmon was a standout - thick, moist, and flaky with a perfectly crispy skin. I also have to commend our server, Ariadne, whose friendly, cheerful, and attentive service made the evening flawless, our glasses were never empty. It was a truly joyful and relaxing dining experience.

I have been going to Il Fornello for decades now, ever since I first visited their restaurant in the St. Clair area a long time ago and I haven't stopped going since.
However, this location delivers something extra special. Along with the excellent service, food and dessert, this Il Fornello location offers something for many people and for many occasions. It is a place that provides excellent atmosphere and spaces for comfortable and enjoyable dining with friends and family. It is also a space that can hold more festive celebrations. Furthermore, this restaurant also supplies good and flexible accessibility options for those customers that may require it, as was seen by the fact that my friend had no trouble navigating around the restaurant.
In addition, we were given excellent and professional service by Ariadne. This site also has a menu that is slightly different from other Il Fornello locations and as usual, we enjoyed a full course meal including dessert. This time, I opted for their lasagna. Their tiramisu is also excellent. We look forward to our next visit!

Last night my family and I went to IL Fornello to enjoy a night out and celebrate their 40th anniversary. Our server Heidi, along with the rest of the staff were kind, greeting us with smiles, and attending to all our needs. Our meals were delicious, and I could not recommend Il Fornello more. As always, it was overall an incredible night and experience.

Excellent service, delicious food

The food and attention by the staff is top notch, was there for my Birthday. I had the Osso Buco and my partner had Linguini Da Mari and topped it all off with coffee and cheesecake. A perfect meal.

Great Italian restaurant, celebrating its 40th Anniversary. Here's to another 40!!! Meals are great here, last week the sword fish was perfectly done and last night the veal limone was wonderful! Portions are perfect (if you can't finish you take it home!). Our waiter,Anthony was superb, attentive but not hovering and willing to offer assistance in selections with a smile. A go to place. Keep up the fine work.
