When I made the reservation I put it was for a birthday. When the restaurant called to confirm the reservation they mentioned the birthday. The server was not notified of the birthday and therefore was bringing the bill with no birthday celebration. I had to take her aside and let her know. Please do not ask if the reservation is for an occasion if this information will not be passed on.

Mexican salad bowl was not good Avocado in the bowl did not look fresh Did not like the taste in general Chicken strips were ok but the batter had a spice that was not good for the child Cheeseburger and chicken Caesar salad were very good. Fries were good all round

We went to Jack Astor’s for New Year’s Day and the whole overall dining experience was terrible. The service was slow, lousy and took too long. We complained and the waitress was kind and conveyed our messsge. We got complimentary desserts but our mood was gone and we didn’t want to argue to mshe matters worse Would not go there at all The steak had a bad odour and the burger too, it was just bad from start to end.
