Have come here for many years with my kids. Consistently good quality soon tofu. We come here so often, I wish the menu were larger, but if it's soon tofu you want, this is a great place!
The food here never misses! Always look forward to coming here for a delicious bowl of soontofu and seafood pancake.
The menu is focused on sundubu, so you know you're in for a treat. However, the seafood pancake was a standout. The pieces of squid were soft and not chewy. It provided the mild fishy smell, which works beautifully with the golden crusted panko crumbs (which further enhanced the appetizing smell). The pancake was fluffy and loose, breaking apart very easily. It didn't compress and go flat. Scallions were more raw than I'm used to (not complaining). Typically scallions are cut in larger pieces and cooked longer so it wilts or browns slightly. If you like your scallions to be a bit more raw for the fresh crunch, you'll love this.
Lastly, the pancake is about the size of a medium-sized pizza. Definitely order this if you visit with a group.
This hidden gem is within an unassuming alley.
It's not easy to see from the parking lot or street but once you know it's here, you will keep coming back.
This Korean restaurant is delicious with authentic flavors and has attentive service. Their name Tofu is highlighted in almost all aspects of the menu. I go for the typical Soon Tofu. It's a win every time.
A must-visit and a hidden gem in Richmond Hill.
Parking can be tough during high-times.
Great little place for some yummy soups. Nice and filling and good value.
I had the beef dumpling soon tofu and it was absolutely perfect, especially on a chilly day. The broth was rich and flavorful, the dumplings were tender and packed with savory goodness, and the tofu was silky and fresh. It’s the ultimate comfort food—warm, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. The flavors were so well-balanced, and every bite was pure bliss. If you’re looking for authentic Korean flavors and something to warm you up, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Been here several times due to convenience. The food is average, but price is a bit high for what it is and in comparison to other eateries of similar cuisine.
What's puzzling is the poor service level. The few times for dinner we have been here, it is around 1/3 occupancy but service is slow enough to be an issue.
Cozy family run restaurant
Overall was an average experience here on a weeknight. The portion of the bulgogi was extremely small for the price.
The worst meal I've had recently. The pork cutlet was so overcooked that it left my mouth completely scratched. I would never want to go back to this place.

The staff is a bit like that. The way you talk is the same. I asked for more side dishes, but instead of bibimbap, the side dishes were half rotten, so it was kimchi soup, soybean paste, and jjambbong, as well as raw radish vegetables, bean sprouts, and jjamppong. Maybe it's because I don't like giving extra side dishes... They asked me to pay for the side dishes... (Korean restaurants charge for side dishes, but there are none.) I felt sick while eating.

Worst! The food is actually okay. I'm shocked by the server's attitude. Are you happy that you received an extra $5 tip from the servers on Wednesday evening, October 2nd? My child and his friends went to a restaurant he always liked to recommend and introduce Korean restaurants to them. He said he was embarrassed because he complained to the kids in the second class that the tip was small. He asked if this is how Korean restaurants accept tips. I'm embarrassed! It's not that I didn't tip, but a $20 tip wasn't enough for a $90 meal, so I'd like to ask the kids if they were satisfied with an adult taking it that way!!
