La Bréhandaise is your go to place for fresh homemade style French food and products. Very friendly staff. Love their crêpes and tartes, their soups and their tourtières. Among everything else you can indulge with, their lemon tart is do melt for ! Zesty, generous and genuine lemon tart and ohhhhh my goodness, the crust !
What a great market! Fresh breads, delicious soups and so many different pastries and tarts to choose from. Must try the quiches and butter tarts, a true French experience! The staff and owners are so friendly and accommodating. So lucky to have this steps away from our home. Highly recommend!
I found out about this place because they have a booth at the Guelph Farmer's Market. I was in the area and decided to stop by to pick up a few things. Some croissants, a tourtiere (meat pie), and some granola were among the things I left with. My favourites are the chocolate croissant and their baguette.
Very delicious! The people in the store are also very warm and friendly! Will buy and taste again!
I just love everything here. Their croissants are to die for, their chocolate mousse is Amazing, they also have the best cocoa that I'm addicted to. Their service is great, I love coming here, they are always so welcoming, and they make the best food. I'm a returning customer and a happy customer when I'm eating their wonderful goods. You are number 1!!!! The one and only!!!!! The best!!!!!!! I highly recommend them. Love you💞 Thank you.
Best Christmas log we've ever had. Their croissants and other patiserie are excellent.
I had the most wonderful experience at this charming French bakery! The breakfast options were absolutely delicious, from the perfectly flaky croissants to the rich and aromatic coffee. Every bite was a treat, and you can really taste the quality of ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start the day. A huge thank you to Mary, the owner, for her incredible hospitality. She made us feel so welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving authentic French pastries and a delightful breakfast!
Delicious cookies. Try their Madeline and lemon cookies, they are not too sweet and have really good texture, perfect paired with any drink. Looking forward to trying their chocolate almond croissants next time. They have a variety of items like soup, bread, tarts, various croissants and cookies, as well as charcuteries.
Delicious local bakery specializing in French pastries and more! Certainly a treat. Fantastic, friendly service.
Best bakery in town!! They use natural and healthy ingredients, and bake very delicious custom cakes! Mark, Marie, and their father are very skilled and created some of the greatest desserts that we’ve ever tasted.

I was visiting Ontario with a friend, and we stopped at this supermarket.
I interacted with Marie and Pascal, they are pretty nice!
I wanted cat tongues too but they didn't have any, BUT I hope they will make some soon!
Despite that, they have a lot of pastries, I had some classic French ones like petit Beurres, palet bretons, madeleines, and also a lemon tart - it was very good
In short, I plan to visit again when I'm in the area.
For my english speaking folks - if you want quality french pastries, come check out this market!
A great French bakery in the outskirts of the Richmond hill area.
Wish they still had that full bakery still there. That half has been converted to a kitchen and the other half has some baked goods, some imported prepackaged goods, and freezers full of ready made food and sauces.
I wanted to get that French bakery feel so I got some fresh baked goods. Definitely had to get a canele made from authentic French hands and tried the almond brioche as well, cuz it looked too tempting not to
The canele has got to be the best in the city. Never have I ever had one that was so soft, moist and fresh even when other spots have it fresh, they did not taste as good as this one. Even the outer layer, which was still firm, but not hard to the point that you would think that’s normal.
The brioche, that’s also a game changer. The brioche bread itself was so soft and with the almond and frangipane, it was a deadly combo. Really made me regret not buying more of those two items since this spot is fairly far from me.
Service was great. Really gave me the opportunity to look around and take my time without any pressure. Gave me a walk through of what was in the freezer and all the sauces which was nice.
Parking was fairly easy and a steady flow of people without it being crowded in the small retail spot. Always had 2 or 3 customers coming in
Great job overall
I saw the éclair, I went for the éclair, I loved the éclair. Not overly sweet, soft yet dense, very smooth and creamy. So much better than what you'd find at Tim Hortons or Coffee Time. It will cost you but I say it's worth it. I also wanted to get one of their Nutella cookies but they don't sell them in singles, only in packs :(
Amazing food and very nice staff!
Good pastry but way too expensive. $6.50 (with tax) is crazy for one apple tart pastry
