Lobster isn't the only thing this place nails, oh no, because their Peking Duck is absolutely phenomenal, and I honestly prefer this over all the glamorous seafood. Every table around us had these crispy bites of duck skin that burst with an addictingly indulgent fattiness of the duck, complemented by a juicy portion of meat. The pancakes are thicker than normal too, which is perfect for soaking up any juices that dare escape. The lobster was ultra fresh and cooked perfectly, for a subtly sweet taste in a fragrant ginger scallion sauce with a crisp, bouncy flesh. My must-order at every Chinese restaurant is their beef tenderloin, and this place elevates it with a savory and slightly sweet Maggi sauce with pine nuts and walnuts. Each bite is tender, flavourful and unbelievably addictingly, even with tough competition from the Peking duck and lobster. This feast had no shortage of delicious dishes that I sometimes struggled to choose my next bite, a crisp crunchy serving of suckling pig, deep-fried oysters in a sweet osmanthus sauce, crispy free-range chicken, and a humble vegetarian braised E-Fu noodle. The service was good, plates were frequently changed, and the seating was spacious.

This is my favorite dim sum restaurant in Toronto. It’s very authentic, with a great ambiance. Both the fried and steamed dishes are incredibly flavorful and true to the original style. I find myself wanting to go every month.

Terrible food for dim sum. Steamed baskets came out lukewarm. The vegetarian bean curd roll absolutely stunk of cabbage, not a standard ingredient in Cantonese dim sum. Foie gras dumplings, nary a whiff of foie gras to be found. Both dumplings were chock laden with MSG wrapped in overly thick dumpling skin.

Food quality is good. it was expensive. We have a BBQ pork. it only had 8 tiny pieces. it cost around $60.
The problem is that "There is NO service" at the restaurant. There was only one waitress that we could see. There were many managers. We asked for ingredient of disk. Waitress indicates that only those managers had authority to introduce. We asked for help. They just walked by and indicated later. There were still no one drop by after 10-15 minutes. I went up to the door and ask for help. There was then a manager walked toward us with very hostile manner.
I thought that we went to DARK CITY campus.
The restaurant was not busy. There were 4 tables in our corner. Also 2-3 dinner cubicles occupied.
I saw 3 managers cleaning one table and ignoring rest of customers.
I don't understand how this restaurant could survive with such services.
I will never go there again.

I went for Saturday Morning dim sum. The food was mediocre. Besides putting the basic dim sum in fancy plates nothing special. Tried the rabbit dessert for the kids...the mould for the banana citrus dessert was an old rabbit and I felt like I was mainly dissecting a rabbit rather than enjoying the cute rabbits. The glutinous rice, the rice was very dry. I guess for a non special rate and high end atmosphere I was expecting more.

The dishes used were also very unique. They tried imitating gong fu cha which I appreciated and each dish was shaped uniquely for the customer use.

For service...they had no boosters, I had to ask twice or three times for water, I gave up on forks and made my kids use chopsticks. Not the ones carrying food out but the one that took bills had no smile and I felt were annoyed at my request. We also asked for the dinner menu multiple times...which was again ignored as we were thinking about this place for a birthday dinner. I ended up getting up myself heading towards the counter to look for it. And walked towards the cash with my dim sum sheet. And even then when waiters saw, with their hands full of dirty dishes pushed us away to pass another table's bill to the cashier.

Will I go again? Most likely not, once was enough to enjoy the use of the nice plates and bowl. As of Banquet? I don't know....will I want to upset my guest with this kind of service?

A decent spot for Chinese dim sum particularly in the mornings. They have flat fee (charged as small) dim sum until 11am. Seats are spaced out quite well and service were attentive. Parking is also ample. The dessert milk tart is recommended

We go here every weekend for dim sum. Overall experience is always good, offering exceptional dim sum experience with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. They offer private rooms for dining at a set min spend price. Highly recommend this spot

We booked a room on Sunday for a birthday party. Service was good. Presentation of each dish was awesome and atmosphere was great. But in terms of food quality, I was a bit disappointed. Lobster was not fresh and it’s overcooked.
The steam fish was not fresh as well and it has a muddy taste, we didn’t even bother to take the leftover home. Deep fried chicken was too dry and not juicy and tender, I took the leftover chicken home for my dog. I think food quality is the most important element. If I want to dine in a Chinese restaurant, this restaurant is not on my list.
