Overall, our visit was extremely disappointing. We used to come to this restaurant regularly, but we can no longer recommend it. For anyone seeking authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not the place. The prices are high, and they even add an automatic 18% tip for tasteless food and very poor service. No thanks.
Upon arrival, we were seated within a few minutes, but everything went downhill from there. Our server seemed uninterested in working — no smile and very slow service. After about ten minutes, a different server finally came to take our order.
Our appetizer, the nachos, arrived about 15 minutes later, and they were a huge disappointment. There was barely any cheese, and they were loaded with canned corn. We had ordered them with avocado sauce, but it didn’t come with the dish. We had to remind the server twice before it finally arrived.
A few minutes after that, our main dishes came out, but they were no better. The refried beans were clearly canned rather than freshly prepared. The food was full of large pieces of bell pepper and onion, with no real flavor or seasoning. Nothing tasted authentic or freshly made.
Unfortunately, the drinks were just as disappointing. We ordered two piña coladas, and they were so bad we couldn’t even finish them.
Awesome food, we will 100% be back

This place shaped my kids day. I suggest ordering the tacos bcuz they r peace. The best. We will b back next week. If you mix the homemade salsa with sour cream with guacamole, it is delicious with the nachos.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Rina and Julia genuinely made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, they treated us like we were their top priority. Super friendly, attentive, and honestly just amazing at what they do.

Great management and staff!
Went for a late lunch/early dinner with family. Service was a little slow considering there were very few customers. Once we got our order in the food was served in a timely manner. Food quality was good, we enjoyed the nachos and our meals - chimichangas, fajitas and chicken supreme. Compared with other Mexican restaurants we've been to in the GTA this one did not feel as authentic as we were hoping for, and I did feel that the pricing was a little higher than average. Glad we tried it, but probably won't return soon.
I recommend here the food was delicious. .
First time on a Sunday afternoon. It was a quieter atmosphere, but I saw signs for events throughout the week so I’m sure it can get very busy!
The food was fantastic. Lots of gluten free/dairy free options, and the presentation and flavour of everything was even better than we’d hoped.
Lunch for two, we shared: a lime marg, jalapeño lime margarita on the rocks, 3 dip platter (guac, pico, queso fundido with chorizo), 3 birria tacos and an azteca soup.
Queso w/chorizo, birria tacos and azteca soup were outstanding and must tries! We’ll be back to tackle the rest of the menu :)

Oh my God… We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time. The décor was nice and gave off a good Mexican vibe.
Once we arrived, one of the servers seated us within a few minutes — but then things went downhill. We waited almost 5 minutes just to get our menus, brought by a server who clearly didn’t want to be there — no smile, very slow service. About 10 minutes later, another server finally came to take our order.
Our appetizer, the nachos, arrived after about 15 minutes — and they were a big disappointment. There was barely any cheese, and they were loaded with canned corn! A few minutes later our main dishes came out, but unfortunately, they weren’t any better. The refried beans were clearly from a can, not freshly made. The food was full of large chunks of peppers and onions with no real flavor or seasoning. Nothing tasted authentic or freshly prepared.
Overall, our experience was very disappointing, and sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food.

Staff was very friendly. Food was fresh, generous portions, and delicious. Mexican Amigos never disappoints!
My boyfriend and I came here because we love birria tacos, but the food was a bit disappointing. The meat was dry and chewy, and the flavour just wasn’t there. Cute atmosphere, but we wouldn’t return.

Bad service!!! I am Mexican, and Mexicans don’t ask “friends” to leave their home because you want to go to sleep. I still had a pitcher to drink and they asked me to drink it as fast as possible because they wanted to close!! The Blue Jays are playing the World Series and I wanted you to watch the 9th inning but they shut down the TVs. I went to St. Louis wings. The vibe was much better!! Don’t go to Mexican Amigos. It is not Mexican and they are not AMIGOS!

Just too expensive for the average flavor and small portion.
