I recently placed a phone pickup order for sushi, sashimi moriawase and six pieces of toboki sushi. The waitress informed me that the restaurant was quite crowded, and we would need to wait for an hour for our order. This was acceptable, as we were not particularly hungry at the time. However, I was left feeling very disappointed after receiving the sushi.

Firstly, I noticed that the charges exceeded the prices listed on the online menu. The sashimi moriawase was advertised at $85.95, yet we were charged $95.95. Additionally, the six pieces of toboki sushi were supposed to cost $3.95 each, totaling $11.85, but we were charged over $20 for them. After tax, it should be $110.51 but they charged $128.51 which overcharged by $18. My husband assisted with the pickup and was unaware of the total price. I only realized the discrepancies once he returned home.

Furthermore, the quantity of sushi provided did not match the claim that it would serve 3-4 people. There were only about 22-25 pieces of sushi, and they were relatively small in size. I was expecting more with this price.

While the sashimi was acceptable but not align with the price, I had expected a variety that included scallops, sweet shrimp, and surf clams, but none of these were included. Although the fish itself was of fair quality, the overall experience was still somewhat disappointing. It was absolutely overpriced.

Unfortunately the food was not worth the price . The portions are extremely small. My mom ordered steak teriyaki that came out cold and they basically re heated her plate. Anyone planning to go there be prepared to spend a LOT of money not being full. You won’t get your monies worth at this place.

Food was highly mediocre although service was good. The restaurant itself looked tired and rundown. I don't think I got good value for my money.

I came here with my brother because we wanted some sushi for dinner. We found this spot , and came over.

We ordered a lot of sushi, okonomiyaki, and some kaarage. For the sushi, we had Maguro Tuna, Hirame, Amaebi, Unagi, Hamachi, salmon, amd spicy salmon rolls. The sushi was a bit on the pricier end, but they were all very delicious!

A cozy Japanese eatery! I always come here when I miss Japan and just want an authentic Japanese meal. From a tasty home-style meal to fancy sashimi platter, this place offers it all.

Their osechi box is amazing. Been ordering for a few years now. Great to enjoy with family on new years day!

If I could give 0 stars for the food, service, and atmosphere, I would. This place totally sucked. There was only one other table besides us and two waiters. But the waiters still couldn’t see me raise my hand and took so long. The food just looked unappealing and tasted horrible too. The atmosphere also just looked so old bro. It was also kinda sus and cluttered. Not only that it was sooo overpriced. Like $90 for only 4 people and 3 dishes?!?! Like what?!? I would never in a million years recommend it. I would rather starve.

Food portions for dinner were embarrassingly small for the price. Sushi tasted inoffensive, but it was thin enough that you could see the huge glob of wasabi underneath that masked all the flavor. Servers seemed extremely uninterested and inattentive.

Food is not fresh. Tempura tasted like cardboard. Rolls are decent. Curry was ok. Portions are so tiny. Overpriced.

Came here for my birthday dinner with my family. Haven't been to this place in years, but I recall it used to be a good authentic Japanese restaurant. However this time around, I was very disappointed. Although the prices haven't increased that much according to my memory, the portions shrunk a lot. The sashimi slices were paper thin and even the sushi rice was miniscule. The green tea tasted worse than before. The quality was soso at best. There are far better options out there in my opinion. Sad to see this place decline after many years in business and sorry to say that I will not be a returning customer.

The food quality have slipped dramatically from its good days ten years ago. It used to be my go to Japanese operated restaurant, now it’s empty during lunch time on weekend. The shrimp tampura is still good but everything else is sus.

Delish dishes. The green tea they serve is great. Staff was wonderful and we loved the ambiance - has a homey feel that reminded us of many cozy places in Japan.
