Very delicious food and nice atmosphere, service here was good for the most part, however the frog legs and bahn mi we’re all sold out by the time I went so it was a bit disappointing, however the rest of the items we preferred more than made up for it.

Stumbled upon this place, since fresh burger was closed!I noticed right away they had banh mi on their menu, so I knew I had to try it. The flavours aren’t necessarily the same as I had in Vietnam, but nonetheless, the best banh mi I’ve had in the GTA! Although, to be fair, I’ve only tried like 3-4 spots.Avocado shake - 4.5/5 - usually get this at Vietnamese restaurants, but found this to be a bit better than others! - quick and friendly staff… they were just quite busy since it was closing time. - a nice mom & pop Vietnamese shop! Clean and quaint!Will definitely be back for the banh mi!

Easily Nam has become my top 10 in Richmond Hill. The service and atmosphere is great - very community-like. The wings are crispy and extremely flavourful. The Banh Mi Sandwich is fresh! The dishes from pho, vermicelli and braised ribs are high quality.

My wife and I always come to this spot and it’s one of the best in the city. The atmosphere gives it an authentic feel and the service is hands down the best I’ve experienced. Personalized and welcoming. The food is spectacular as we always get the banh mi sandwiches (pork belly) and the special wings. The beef vermicelli is fantastic as well! A great place to be a regular!

Food was okay, but when I checking out. Older man used his POS machine for my credit card transaction. It was weird cause I could not see the option to tip, I assumed I could choose the amount afterwards or I’ll just tip in cash. So it’s fine either way. Was given the machine and then I simply tapped. Came out with a receipt saying pre-authorized charge. Thought this was weird, showed it to him and he just said oh you did it wrong. I tried to explain all I did was tap and he most likely tapped the pre-authorize button on the POS machine that business use for take out or order ahead circumstances. He said no give me your card, you did it wrong here is the pre-authorize receipt take it up with your bank. Literally said you call them I dont have time for this.No apology, just it’s your fault and your card issue. I’m understanding he could have just said, he hit the wrong button and he has to actually charge me through the correct way. But no, blamed it on me and told me to call my bank. All I tried to do was explain to him he set it up as a pre-authorize charge and he needs to make sure not to claim it or I will dispute the charge and he will get a chargeback which is worst for him. But too self righteous, to listen and admit any responsibility. I do not assume anything, but tell me how by tapping a credit card machine that I somehow change your system to pre-authorize charges instead of actually charging me. Rewatch your cameras, look and see if I clicked anything on your machines. It was all your employee and how the business educates their staff on using it. Waste of my time and just bad service that makes me never want to dine at this place again. Also, I tipped cause your younger workers actually tried to be helpful and listen to my concerns, but the older man just shushed them away.

An older Vietnamese man, who I believe is the owner, was extremely rude and blamed me for his error with the POS machine when trying to accept my credit card.He was shown the receipt that proved he did a pre-authorized payment instead of a proper charge, and denied all responsibility for this, instead claiming a customer somehow changed this just by tapping their card.I tried explaining this to him, and he just said he wouldn't do anything with the preauthorized charge and said I should call my credit card company since it's my fault.If he's this bad at customer service, accepting responsibility, and this incompetent at using something as simple as a credit card machine, what else is he bad at? Hygiene standards?
I used to think they are the best in town but after having their beef pho today, I must say there are much more nicer spots than Nam nowadays. Their broth is so bland and noodles are overcooked. I think they have changed their recipe.

Visited Nam on Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm. Restaurant was full but was able to find a table. Server was nice and moved us to a bigger table when it open up. We tried their famous wings. They tasted pretty good with a saviour and sweet favour. Pho was decent and good. We would come back again if we are in the area.
