We ordered on two occasions, called 2 hours in advance and when we got there, had to wait 20 mins once and this time waited half an hour. Both times the restaurant wasn’t busy and only had 3 dine in groups. After we left they called to tell us they forgot to package one of our items. We went back. Now that I’m home, I realize they gave us a wrong roll and the spider roll they gave has raw crab meat. I don’t think it’s suppose to be raw.. I’ve never had deep fried soft shell crab roll with raw meat. See photo. Despite the poor experience as of late, I’d still like to give them another try later. _________
We discovered Neko Sushi back in February and have been coming back since. Have ordered take out close to 10 times and dined in once. Consistent quality, fresh, generous portions.
Combo tray offers variety, and their cooked food and rolls are solid. We’ve tried many different menu items and enjoyed each one! Maki lunch set D, spicy roll dinner and chicken yaki udon are our go to! Our friends/family are impressed by their party trays as well.

The food was good, and the prices were comparable to other places. Our group of five came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and brought a small cake along. We politely asked if they could store it in the fridge, but they declined, which we understood. However, after finishing our meal and ordering plenty of food, we asked if we could borrow some forks and plates to enjoy the cake. We were seated outside to avoid disturbing other customers, but they refused again, saying they couldn’t provide us with forks. It was a small request that would have made our experience more memorable, but instead, we had to leave and eat the cake in the parking lot with utensils we bought from a nearby store. It was disappointing to have such a simple gesture denied, especially during a special occasion.

Not sure if the fish is less fresh on some days, but on a Wednesday the tako (octopus) and raw salmon were a bit fishy and not very fresh. Would recommend getting non-raw dishes here

Ate here on a Sunday at 7:30 PM. I ordered the Salmon Lover Dinner. Did not disappoint. One thing I have to say, they have A LOT of options, the menu is well put together and there is something for everyone. Food came out promptly and tasted quite fresh. They have an outdoor patio but we sat inside.
Tea was hot. Salmon sashimi was butter. Bento box was big. Thank you.

The waiter was out of this world. Definitely the best and most genuine service I have ever gotten in my 25 years to be honest. Food was sooo tasty and ouu the hot sake was?? it was supposed to only be a "quick stop eat" but i'd def come back, w my mom this time!!

We ordered pick up, and they forgot to put wasabi and ginger to our platter. When I called to ask about it, all they could say is “sorry” and remained silent on the phone after.. We asked for a platter and half of the fish did not looked good, it was literally falling apart or had grey colour so we were scared to even try it. They put sauce inside our shrimp tempura box and the plastic cup melted, when we came home our tempura was soaked in sauce. To top it off, we ordered 2 soups, order was made from website and that was soup description “Wonton Soup Shrimp, squid, mussel, clam, and vegetable in soup...” (will attach the picture of description from website),in fact it was vegetable soup ! I would describe it as “onion cabbage soup”.. if only I knew, I wouldn’t order even one.. As a result, at least a half of the food we ordered stayed untouched and went straight to the garbage.. we left hungry, sad and disappointed for the price we paid.. What a disappointment! We will stay away from this place

My husband and I went for a lunch date to finally check this semi-new sushi joint out.
Atmosphere: First 2 minutes he had to kill 2 huge spiders on the wall despite us motioning to them we needed more napkins. “Why? Is there a spider?” the front guy asked.
Food: The shrimp tempura in our roll was reheated and stale. So was my husband’s tofu. Our rolls were also drenched in teriyaki sauce. We politely told our waitress when she came to collect our untouched plates and she said she’ll tell the chef but she didn’t follow up; just came to ask for us to pay (possibly concerned that we wanted a discount).
If you’re looking for good sushi in a Richmond Hill, the best is and will always be Mi-Ne.

The food is good and reasonably priced. We like going because the staff there are friendly - overall experience is great! Best among the nearby competitors.
One of our go-to sushi spots. The sushi platters are a good price for value. Always fresh. They have never made a mistake on the the large orders we place. Although, we find the bento boxes are not quite worth it as it is a small portion of meat, especially the bulgogi. Overall a great sushi spot.

I rarely leave reviews these days but I must say in my many years of being on this planet this is probably the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life. I got take out the place itself is a little run down but the tempura, the rolls, everything just tastes amazing and they add some green herbs or something to that effect and its just amazing. Coming back again today lol

This is a solid option - the people are friendly and the food is good! Take a look at this Combination Platter with Sushi, Rolls, and Sashimi! The presentation was perfect and it tastes really good. If you're looking for a chill spot that has indoor and outdoor dining, with good quality food then this is the right place for you!
