The staff here are incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely knowledgeable — they took the time to educate me on different types of seafood and helped me choose exactly what I needed. They get fresh seafood in daily, and I love that I can choose whether I want my fish whole or filleted on the spot.

So far, I’ve tried their seabass and monkfish — both absolutely delicious and total game-changers if you haven’t had them before. And their oysters? Top. Notch.

I ordered a large tray of oysters for a dinner party recently and it was a huge hit — my guests still talk about them! The presentation and packaging were next-level: oysters set on ice, an extra bag of ice provided just in case, and even an extra Tabasco bottle thrown in. Attention to detail like that is rare.

I went back today to grab some oysters for my wife and me, and once again the experience was amazing. Ryan was super helpful, walked me through how to shuck oysters properly, and even included a small gift. The staff consistently go above and beyond — you can tell they care.

If you’re looking for fresh, high-quality seafood and exceptional customer service, this is the spot. Can’t recommend Off The Hook Fish Market enough — definitely my go-to place for seafood! 🦪🐟👏

Love this place! 3 minutes from my home and I walk here with my son all the time. They have a large selection of fresh fish everyday and the people that work there are very pleasant I’m glad I live close to a local gem like this one.

Off the Hook Fish Market is a true gem! Ryan, the owner, is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly—he really makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. He knows everything about seafood and is always happy to help you pick the perfect catch. I recently bought some beautiful black sea bass for a Chinese-style steamed fish recipe, and it turned out absolutely amazing—so fresh and flavorful! Their selection is fantastic, from fillets and whole fish to shellfish and frozen options. You just can’t beat the freshness, quality, and great prices here. Highly recommend to anyone who loves seafood!

We absolutely love *Off The Hook* in Richmond Hill! The fish from here was delicious, and we especially enjoyed their Salmon and Black Cod—both were phenomenal. Sandra, the owner, is incredibly sweet, and warm-hearted. It was a blessing to meet her during our visit to the area while serving in ministry. Friendliest store I have ever set foot in ..the associates were kind and ready to help .Fish quality is 10/10 and the nice lady at the counter ( assuming it’s the owner ) gave me a free hat when I mentioned how much I liked their hats ..service doesn’t get better than that 100/10 experience
