Great store! Always getting fish for sushi and sashimi from these guys. Prices are decent and the quality of the fish is excellent. Thank you.

Absolutely love this place! Regularly go for fresh fish and seafood for some years now. Two weeks ago bought some BC mussels and some Florida clams to make a seafood pasta dinner - was divine! Today bought 30 shucked oysters: Lucky Lime, Raspberry Point and Rustico varieties to eat fresh with lemon and tabasco sauce...used Effingham for Oysters Rockefeller! Was fantastic! Thank you Off the Hook for always impressing! Will always be back!

Happy experience at this seafood market! The staff's knowledge and guidance in selecting the perfect fish for my meal was unparalleled. The freshness of their seafood is unmatched, and the variety of sauces they offer truly elevate the dining experience. Today, I purchased salmon, crab cakes, and tartare sauce for a dinner for four, all for a reasonable $67. The advice on cooking techniques provided was valuable . Highly recommend

This store has very good quality fresh seafood. I came here for oysters and it seems like they only had east coast varieties specifically from PEI. Staff are very nice and helpful, only complaint is that when I asked them to label each bag of oysters, they attached a blank label with the price only.

Read the reviews about “owner has an attitude problem” and was a bit worried.I called in advance and ask about availability and pricing, the gentleman over the phone answered my questions one by one. When I went to the store, I told them it is my first time visiting and the greeted me with friendly smiles.I went there for Salt spring mussels. $8.25/ lbs (versus Diana $6 lbs).Pricing is higher than Diana seafood but you get to purchased by the pound or whatever QTY you need. Unlike Diana seafood which you need to purchase by either 2lbs bag or 5lbs bag. The lady behind the counter hand pick the mussels for me, discarding any dead/ not fresh ones.Only 3 types of oysters available that day. $24 per dozen, can be purchased by half dozen. I didn’t buy this time, may be next time. Shuck add $0.5 which I think it’s pretty reasonable.I’d recommend this place to anyone living in the area. Save me time driving all the way to Diana seafood.
