Restoran Malaysia once had the best Pad Thai but unfortunately not anymore. I bought take out chicken & shrimp Pad Thai 2 days and it was disappointing. It was bland and dry, and I had to search through the noodles to find a couple pieces of very thin chicken pieces and maybe 2-3 shrimps/ half shrimp pieces. On top of that the price has increased. The quality of the food here has gone down.

We ordered from this place on Uber eats before and decided to go in person. The food was great ! We got the dishes in the pictured below and really liked ALL of them :). The food isn’t spicy but has flavour.

Went for lunch with a buddy and he picked this place. Place was not busy and he asked for a quiet area but was directed close to entrance and was told there is no quiet spot. She was rude without one bit of pleasantry. We were not that familiar with the menu and try to figure out our order. She just stood there impatiently until we decided.
There was no lunch menu and all dishes are cater to bigger group. We like satay but it only come in 6 skewer for almost $20. The chicken was breast meat, hard and dry. The beef was tough. Curry chicken with roti came and the small bow hold max 6 small pieces of chicken and a couple of potatoes. Again charged $20. Mee Goring was ok with noodles way too soft with heavy sauce.
All in all, food is poor and service sucks big time. Not going back

Where’s the Pad Thai? Still Missing. Just like Waldo.

We ordered at Restoran Malaysia, a merry band of office lunchers, hungry for Pad Thai and hopeful for flavor. What we got instead was a noodle-based mystery so dry, even Waldo wouldn’t hide in it. The plate arrived looking suspiciously innocent. Noodles? Present. Garnish? Sort of. Sauce? Gone. Not even a trace. We checked under the lime wedge, behind the chicken, and inside our broken dreams was broken noodles. Nothing. If Pad Thai is a party, this was the awkward silence before anyone shows up. Pad Thai without sauce is like Waldo without stripes. It’s just... noodles. Bland, clingy noodles that stuck together like coworkers avoiding eye contact in the elevator. There was a moment, just a moment, when someone thought they tasted tamarind. It turned out to be a rogue lime wedge with delusions of grandeur. The peanuts were there, but emotionally unavailable. Restoran Malaysia may serve food, but Pad Thai isn’t one of them. If you’re looking for flavor, bring your own sauce. Or better yet, bring Waldo. At least he knows how to show up.

Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience from sticky menus to sticky table, to not filling ur water unless you ask, to poor lighting and charging high prices for food/atmosphere that is not worth it.

Great service and friendly people.

However the food is a total let down. Ordered coconut rice, it came oddly shaped like they placed it from another container into a rice bowl. It was microwaved. I'm not going to a restaurant to eat microwaved food.

Ordered a Malay curry and also a pad Thai, those two were okay.

The tables were sticky, and the temperature inside was like 28C. I couldn't even eat my food since I was so hot already.

Came here 10yrs ago, i remember it being much better.

We have attempted to visit twice. Today I called at 6.20 and the staff said as long as we make it by 7 we will be served. We reached at 7.05 and the staff at front very rudely told me dining room is closed and she just turned and walked away. This is disappointing.

Great food, period. Will make the 30+ minute drive for this food. Doesn't matter if it's roti, noodles, shakes, rice............there is no such thing as a bad dish here. Period. If I am ever in the area before or after an event, I will always give this place some serious consideration. If you get there within the first 30-60 minutes of opening, you won't likely have to wait for a table. If you plan on eating here, I would aim to arrive around when it opens so you get everything fresh out of the kitchen.
