The service was excellent and the food very flavourful. We had the calamari and crab cakes to start and lamb shank and gnocchi - both were excellent. The only suggestion is a little more space between tables.
The entire experience was fine overall. Where we were seated, was extremely cold at the bar area by the window. The server was nice though to get us a space heater because it was not enjoyable dining in the cold. Unfortunately, we did not get the dining room experience either. The server was nice enough as well, he mostly only took out orders and brought us the bill, nevertheless he was kind and I'm sure very busy. The apps were lackluster. We went for New Years Eve and it was a set menu. The food was amazing, delicious, and the perfect amount. Ambiance was nice, service was great. We did feel rushed and were told we had a time limit, which we can understand but still did not like that too much. Also, it was really pricy. I understand that it was New Years Eve, and I know a dinner for two at a decent restaurant is going to cost you, but we each had one drink and a sparkling water and our bill was not reasonable....
