Amazing dumplings at great prices. If you enjoy soup dumplings, you're going to vibe with this place. Seems like a place best suited for takeout, but there's in store dining.

This place must be the last place you should choose in the neighbourhood. The food is so plain and just like the street stall level in shanghai, the environment is just dirty and greasy. More importantly, the service girls seem not caring about the customer and even the business. They are rude, and always ignore customers and a lot of times argue with customers.... I believe these girls had bad lives personally and it's impossible to find any sign of smile on their faces. So , don't go there.... there are many authentic shanghai dim sum in the area. The only good thing for this place is the price.. it's cheap. So basically you get what you pay....

Not the same one as before. They changed everything to a self serve restaurant with limited food options.

It’s no longer the City God’s Temple it used to be.
Extremely high value Xiaolongbao [$5/ 6pc as of Dec '23]. Restaurant is definitely a take out only kind of place and has the claw machines which is kinda strange but $5/ 6pc Xiaolongbao simply cannot be beat. Not the best Xiaolongbao I've ever had but well worth the price! Will be back. Wasn't a fan of the pan fried Xiaolongbao or the shengjianbao. Stick to the Xiaolongbao.

Food is trash compare to before the pandemic. Anything they offer now you can buy it frozen at T&T and put it in your microwave and it’ll taste exactly the same thing. What a shame. It used to be THE place to get the most authentic Shanghai soup dumplings and now it’s just a place to scam those who’s never eaten the real deal.

There is usually no service at all. Self served. The decor isn’t like a restaurant, but a place filled with claw machines. The only item I enjoy having on their menu is the xiao long bao, it’s economical and yummy. I suggest them to remove the $3.99 sign on the exterior window, as the price had increased.

My friend who grew up in the area introduced me to this place. It’s the first time I’ve tried the soup dumplings and I’m definitely coming back for more! I also love the jellyfish and the savoury wrapped rice.
The steamed buns are juicy and fresh. I like thin skins of the dough and flavour of the meat with soup. Good price, self serve atmosphere.

We use to come to this location very often, however the food quality has gone down. Since covid, the menu has changed a bit. The weirdest thing is that they have claw machines located inside their restaurant. I understand it's a way to attract the children, but at the same time, it doesn't match the environment. We always order their steamed dumplings with soup, Shanghai stir fried noodles and ma lan tou. It's located inside Golden Court Plaza. It's difficult to find parking spaces, as there are many restaurants, tea shops and offices inside the plaza as well.

It was such a delight to revisit the xiao long bao restaurant after such a long time since the pandemic. Their updated system and focused menu on juicy dumplings truly impressed me. The dumplings were incredibly juicy, and I loved that they weren't overly salty. The best part was the unbeatable price; I couldn't believe I had such a delicious meal for around $10! For two orders. Even fast-food chains can't match this value. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an affordable, quick, and utterly delicious meal. Go check it out!

XLB $3.99 for 6 pieces is cheap and tastes very good. I wish the owner makes it clearer that it's really a takeout place. The menu is very limited. I had to buy bottle water (felt lucky that I bought the last two).
