BOTH of the two desserts (milk custard & sesame pudding) I bought from them this afternoon has already gone bad and is spoiled and sour, that's absolutely unacceptable. We are not returning.

I’m convinced my meals were not cooked by a proper chef. Horrible and disgusting food.

EGGS TART review only:
So my coworker asked me if I wanted to have an eggs tart today. I said “yes.” OMG, this eggs tart was absurdly delicious. Not sweet.
The crust is unbelievably light and flaky from top to bottom. I measured its height. Yes, I did. It clocked in at 1-3/8” in height. That depth add a whole dimension to the eggs tart. Each bite was savoured to the last bite.
I ate many eggs tarts before. I sat there in my office wondering how this was so different. It got to be the multiple layered crust and how it cradles the eggs custard in the middle. In my opinion, this is a winner. Now, I know it’s from Soho bakery in Richmond Hill.
I didn’t have the chance to try any of the buns that were offered to me. But I noticed the buns were individually wrapped which I like.

Green mold spotted! Unfortunate the mochi x 3 that I bought and mochi x 1 that my friend bought all became moldy the next morning, in less than 24hr.

The steam rice is horrible, rice was soggy and the meat was dry, I paid $8,50 plus tax the worst I have tried what a waste of money.

Square bags are full of mold. I suggest you don’t buy bags from this store!
Maybe Lucullus next door needs some competition. They are doing tò great a job. Most of the buns and offerings are of lower standard.

I stumbled upon this bakery about 6 months ago and have found the quality of their buns and egg tarts consistently good. Fresh and flavourful, and lots of fillings in their buns (very important!). They also have the classic custard bun which has been hard to find in many Chinese bakeries nowadays. I'd say their bakery items are worth it for the price, almost all are under $3 per. They're now one of my go to bakeries when I'm in the area.

It’s a nice place and the people are friendly. Unfortunately giving one star for food. Got a cake for my mom and the fruit in the cake went bad. Cake was inedible.
