Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as great. Our waitress, Nazanin, was so polite, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend!

I recently tried takeout from Soufi Persian Grill & Lounge, and overall, it was a pretty underwhelming experience. While the quality of the ingredients seemed fine — fresh enough and properly cooked — the food itself was surprisingly bland. Persian cuisine is usually rich in flavor and aroma, but this meal felt like it was missing seasoning or any real depth.

The service wasn’t bad, and the staff were polite, but the takeout took longer than expected. A bit more efficiency would go a long way, especially when customers are just picking up food.

Not the worst meal I’ve had, but definitely not what I was hoping for from a place that labels itself a “grill & lounge.” There’s potential here, but they really need to revisit their recipes and spice profiles if they want to stand out.

Flawless Service and Memorable Dining
Everything about this restaurant exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly organized, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and well-coordinated, making for a smooth and enjoyable experience. You can truly feel the care and effort behind every detail. A place worth returning to!

One of the Worst Dining Experiences – Avoid at All Costs

This restaurant is extremely disorganized and poorly managed. The air conditioning doesn’t work, and they rely on a small fan to cool the space, which is completely ineffective. The ventilation system is broken, yet they still allow “Ghelyoon” indoors, making the air hot, smoky, and uncomfortable. The environment is not suitable for a pleasant dining experience.

Now, let me share what happened to us.

We were a group of 15 people who had made a reservation in advance, so the staff knew we were coming. We placed our order at 9:30 PM, and shockingly, the food didn’t arrive until 11:30 PM. Even then, they only brought food for 11 people, and the rest had to wait even longer — with no explanation or apology.

To make things worse, cutlery was brought at least 10 minutes after the food arrived. When I politely asked the server about it, she rudely responded, “You guys are too many, someone else will bring it.” I had to reply, “Cutlery is usually placed before the food, if you didn’t know.” Her tone was dismissive and disrespectful, which made the situation even more frustrating.

They were clearly not prepared to handle a group — even with advance notice.

Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Food:
- My friends and I ordered Vaziri. The portion was generous, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. We were all so full that we decided to get takeout. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I genuinely hope they maintain this high standard. Vaziri is definitely one of my favorite places to get kebab.

Service:
- It was great! They were kind and quick.

Atmosphere: (Went on a Saturday)
- They had a DJ playing Persian music, which was fine, but I wish they had mixed it with more mainstream songs from North America. This could have attracted more customers, not just Persians.

- My only issue that led me to giving this place a 4-star rating was the extreme heat inside. It felt like there was no air conditioning. I hope they address this issue.

Food was good and fresh. It was hard to get the waitress’s attention, I wanted some hot sauce as the food came without any and had to literally get out of my seat. But my biggest complaint was the price. It’s way too overpriced for a place that doesn’t give a naan or a salad with your kebob dinner plate. The tea was delicious but again, overpriced. A lot of places re fill your cup but they charge here.

I recently had dinner at Sofi Restaurant with my family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and of high quality. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, but what truly made our evening exceptional was the amazing service from Ms. Rose.

Ms. Rose was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She greeted us warmly, answered all our questions with patience, and offered great suggestions from the menu. Throughout the evening, she made sure we had everything we needed and truly made us feel special. It’s rare to see such heartfelt and top-notch service these days.

We’ll definitely be returning to Sofi Restaurant, and I sincerely thank Ms. Rose for making our visit so memorable. If you’re looking for great food and outstanding service, Sofi is the place to go.
