Really enjoying the newly renovated layout and staff here are always welcoming and friendly. However the Starbucks app said my order was ready for pick up through the drive thru, I went and it wasn’t so i had to park and wait 5 more minutes in front. Shout out to Nadine for going above and beyond for my order though!

I’ve been a regular customer here for a long time, almost every day, usually ordering through the app and picking up at the drive-through. On two occasions when I realized I might be late while walking my dog, I called the café and said it would be fine if they wanted to leave my drinks at the door since I might not make it on time. In response, they said, “We know you. You almost order every day. Thank you so much for your support. We will definitely wait for you and keep your drinks in the fridge so they will still be cold.” True to their word, when I rushed over just before closing, they were still there and handed me a fresh, nicely prepared drink with a smile.

The store itself is always very clean and well-kept. I also sometimes ask if they have used coffee grounds (which I need for my dog), and they always have them neatly bagged up. If they don’t have any at the moment, they politely explain and even offer to set some aside for me the next time.

On top of that, they are always so generous with pup cups. Whether I ask for one or two (sometimes for my dog’s little friends as well), they always give me exactly what I need, never making me feel awkward about it. I also like to customize my drinks in very detailed ways, which can sometimes annoy staff at other places—but here, they never complain or act impatient. Every time, they make my complicated orders perfectly and with a smile.

The staff here are truly friendly, thoughtful, and professional. I really appreciate their kindness and consistency—it makes me happy to support this location every day.

Just moved to the area and over the weekend ordered a venti iced matcha latte that tasted like milk in a cup of ice..I always order this drink and never have it taste like that. Despite asking for light ice too..Today I went to get the pumpkin spice latte and I had a $100 bill..I was told they dont have change and I even offered to upload $30 to my starbacks card which Deanna said she could do and then said actually I need to void the order. Non apologetic. Not the normal happy customer service I receive at other locations. Disappointing you can't break change if im willing to upload 30$ to my card. She would have turned down my business but I said I would pay for the drink by debit.

The customer service at this Elgin mills location is absolutely horrendous!
I used to work drive thru at Panera bread & this is THE WORST experience I have ever had - they are rude, make you feel stupid and are not friendly.

I came here at 1:45pm today and ordered the 2x iced strawberry oat matcha latte. They only filled the cup halfway and not a strawberry in sight. When I asked about the strawberry, the lady said it’s in there but as you can see… nothing? The second drink was made by another person and you can see the drastic difference and it was at least filled a bit higher. Really unacceptable when it was $7 for a drink.

Had a great visit to Starbucks with my cousin and his kids. We stayed for a while, catching up and enjoying the time together. The kids were laughing and maybe a little loud at times, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We never felt rushed or out of place. Really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. Great service and a great vibe.

I came to this Starbucks at 9:08 PM, well before the posted closing time of 9:30 PM. However, I was told they were only serving “big clients” after 9 PM and couldn’t take my order. Honestly, who comes to a coffee shop as a “big client”? If you’re going to stop serving at 9, don’t advertise 9:30 as your closing time. Extremely misleading and frustrating experienc

Came to this location today with my mom on her birthday to redeem her free birthday drink. In app in her personal info it states her birthdate as July 31st ( today’s date). This was shown to their employees but they refused to give her a free drink due to their system not seeing that it’s her birthday when scanning her card straight from the app and despite her showing them the proof multiple times and her ID. Instead of being understanding and compassionate since after all this is customer service and they should strive to keep their customers happy, they refused to give her a free drink and she was forced to pay on her birthday. They told her to call Starbucks directly and have them figure out why their system isn’t picking up her birthday even though they literally saw in app that it’s all there.

She’s a really nice person and didn’t want to argue with them so she paid for her drink. This left a really bad impression for me about how sucky this location is. They’re slow as hell we waited 15 mins in line only to be let down like this.

Their employee said well I can’t just give it to you for free on us. Um… yes you can? It’s your Starbucks birthday policy and she’s an active app member for years. We’re not from around this area and are used to our local Starbucks locations which have by far way better customer service.
I’ve gotten a birthday drink before from the Empress Walk location in North York without having my app scan just by showing them my ID because they wanted to provide great customer service. So I know it is possible.

Customer service here is crap. I’ve worked in customer service for many years it’s not hard to give a free drink to someone on their birthday when it’s your policy and there is proof. Manager there sucks because he didn’t even try to help his own employee deal with this.

I will probably be just as annoying as them and talk to Starbucks customer support about this location. A disgrace to all Starbucks locations.
