Have been to the Thai Express at Hillcrest Mall a few times now and was absolutely amazed at the Thai Chicken Fried Rice. ($14.69 in 2025). Chef's Lito and Dan are truly expert in creating these culinary treats. I have since ordered Mango Salad($5.98 -Aug. 2025, and Shrimp Pad Thai ($15.89 -Aug. 2025). Courteous and friendly as they craft the dishes. The ingredients are fresh with generous portions. Really enjoyable and repeatable experience! Thank you!

The male workers here are so nice and I love the food here, but the Asian lady at the cash is so rude and all the negative reviews are about her being so unwelcoming, rude, and snappy to customers.

Do not eat here, their quality is not consistent to other thai express locations. I ordered a chicken pad thai and they gave it to me it was grey and soupy. I went back and immediately asked for a refund after trying it and the manager proceeded to say I should've got it in a bowl and added more sauce making it taste worse. I would've been happier with a refund cause I am not eating this it tastes horrible and the service was extremely rude. I eat at thai express at different locations all the time and know what their pad thai tastes like so I am just turned off completely.

NEVER GO THERE !!! We spent 39$ at this location and the cashier gave us our change back we tipped 6$ when I went back to get a PLASTIC CUP she charged me a 1.13$ I asked what is going on? She barely spoke English, she kept arguing with me that I owed her a 1$ I told her that we left a 6$ tip why is she even charging people for a plastic cup? Don’t work in customer service if you have no idea what you’re doing. That’s embarrassing and stressful we won’t be back!

She made me break a 5$ bill to charge 1.13$ and only give a loony back!

I had a very disappointing experience with one of the staff members who assisted me with my food earlier today, between 7:00 to 7:20 PM. It was a woman—possibly Chinese—wearing glasses. She was extremely rude and unaccommodating.

I was simply asking if I could have holy basil with egg, but she cut me off and said, “Only chicken is available. Don’t bother ordering beef because we’re about to close.” She also added, “We’re only accommodating take-out now.” I was surprised because it was only 7:00 PM and there were still plenty of customers placing orders

I then requested for the egg to be well done, and she snapped at me saying, “Why would you even ask for it well done? Just order what’s in the picture.” I explained that I have an allergy to raw eggs, and she coldly replied, “Then don’t order egg.”

To make things worse, I paid the same full amount for my order, but no egg was served at all.

I was honestly shocked and taken aback by her tone and attitude. It was unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, especially considering I was just trying to avoid an allergic reaction.

What made it worse was that after I finished eating, I asked the cook directly—and he kindly said he could’ve done the egg well done with no problem, since it’s actually a simple request.

I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. It’s upsetting to be treated that way over something so minor and avoidable.

I really hope this gets noticed. For someone like me, that kind of experience feels a bit traumatic and discouraging.

Worst and rude cashier, no compassion , no customer service, she doesn’t give you an option!!!! good thing I’m not the owner or else i kick you out!!!!

Very rude cashier who was working Sunday around 12:30pm. Rolled her eyes in annoyance when she repeatedly failed to understand our simple order because she couldn’t understand english well. We were being very patient, respectful, and understanding with her but she proceeded to get very upset and had an anger outburst with us and so we decided to leave. Unfortunate that we will never come back because we used to always come to this location. Go to a different location.

I truly cannot speak higher of the staff. The person helping me order was so kind and patient. He helped me order a gluten free pad thai and assured me it would be safe.

The person manning the wok was so friendly and smiley. I felt so welcome.

The food was decent, for $15 I really can’t complain. It was quick and did kept me full. The best part is a shaker of peanuts, add as much or as little as you want.
