Tea wasn't Hong Kong style (needs to be stronger). Sauce for each dish was way too salty.

NO VEGGIES AT ALL AND PRICEY. Almost all dishes cost $18 and has no vegetables at all, not even a tiny piece for decoration. For a bit of broccoli, it's another $3.50 bringing it to $21.50 which is pricey for a HK cafe. Food is good but still not worth it.

The Point is always ON POINT!!! The food is amazing and the service is always friendly. The best Hong Kong milk tea in town!!!

Oh my God! The black pepper ox tongue on rice is absolutely divine—so, so delicious! I feel hesitant to write this review because I don’t want to share this little-known eatery, but it’s so undeservedly underrated that I want to help ensure their continued success. The flavors in the food are incredibly well balanced; the black pepper is never overpowering, and the same goes for the curry. You can actually taste the many different flavors in each dish, which is rare for a restaurant in Richmond Hill. The meat is perfectly tender, and I visit this place almost weekly.

Came for family lunch. It was after 1:45pm when we sat down. Just had to wait for few minutes. Otherwise, this restaurant is usually packed if you come in rush hour (and the parking as well)

Food quality is good. My daughter’s favourite is deep fried pork chop with rice (S13). Large and thick pieces of pork chop, juicy inside. We also ordered chicken rice, curry beef brisket with rice, baked pork chop on rice with cheese. All are delicious. Definitely recommend. $2 surcharge for cold drink which is slightly above average than other nearby HK style restaurants.

order S1, S2, S1. The red dish is sweeter. S2 is delicious, with a big plate and lots of chicken.
Will try more times.

Nice Hong Kong style cafe tucked away in a small plaza. Lots of parking, plenty of menu options, daily specials, and friendly staff.

being generous here... This isnt like a traditional HK cafe... No soup and no drink, the drink can be added at 50% of the cost. however the place was clean and nice. Service was a bit slow, and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. We ordered two steaks, both requested to be cooked medium rare... one arrived well done and the other medium well.
Overall i would likely choose almost any other HK cafe style restaurant, before coming back. But if you have no other option available this place is okay.

A Mixed Bag with Outstanding Dishes

This Hong Kong-style café has its ups and downs, but it's worth visiting for its standout dishes. On the positive side, their baked Portuguese chicken, baked beef tongue, bolognese with spaghetti, pork cutlet and fries, and chicken leg and fries are exceptional. These dishes outshine similar offerings at other Hong Kong Chinese cafés, making this place a hidden gem for fans of hearty, flavorful meals.

However, the experience isn't without its flaws. The noodle soup is a disappointment, lacking flavor, a few small pieces of meat and quality compared to their otherwise impressive menu. Cleanliness is average—nothing to praise, but not a dealbreaker.

One notable downside is the noise level. The two waitresses and the cashier lady can be quite loud when chatting about their lives, which I could hear clearly even from the other side of the restaurant. While some may find it endearing, it can detract from the dining atmosphere.

If you’re in it for the food and can overlook the noise, this café’s baked dishes and fried classics are absolutely worth a visit. Skip the noodle soup, and you’ll likely leave satisfied.

Finally had a chance to try this HK cafe as I went at 11 am when it opened. Most of the time the place is packed for lunch, and I wasn't willing to wait.
Seating is comfortable here, and it's not too cramped like other HK cafes.
Food is average, and prices are average too. Drink included with meal.
I find the food is better at Pine House and Kitchen M/Joy Noodle. Staff are friendly here and don't give attitude.
Worth a try if you're in the area.

Don't be fooled by what it said on top of the menu. "Served with Complimentary Hot coffee or tea". The Point Eatery charged us for the hot tea.
There are a lot more better choices for the same food quality at this price around the area.
