Three Coins Open Kitchen& Breakfast and Lunch

This café has always been one of my favourite places. It’s my little safe spot, and every visit feels warm because of the great food and the people who make the experience even better. Salute to the chef, consistently amazing.

I drove quite a distance this morning just to spend my early morning here. Breakfast was perfect, as always. The service today felt a bit different from what I’m used to, and that’s completely understandable. We all have days when we’re not at our best.

Just wanted to share my experience with my favorite café, because this place truly means a lot to me.

Classic diner with alot of history. Came in with my friends today and food was tasty. I'm visiting the area and will definitely come back again. Madi was our waitress and she was sweet. Nice hidden gem.

Had the pleasure of stopping by this amazing breakfast shop a month ago and honestly it is now in my top 2 spots. Not only is the big breakfast the perfect ratio and size of protein and sweet but their pancakes absolutely my favourite!!! But what makes this shop stand out is the over the top amazing customer service that I have received from Autumn each and every time I have visited. Shout out to the whole team from the cooks to the servers!!! I really really recommend stopping here for breakfast, brunch or lunch, you will not regret it.

My family moved to RIchmond Hill back in 1989 and everytime we went up Yonge Street, I always noticed this diner. I have never had the opportunity to visit but over the many years that have gone by, this place has always remained. I finally had the opportunity to try this place out and it did not disappoint.
The diner is small and can fill up quite easily but even when it was full, it never felt cramped.
I tried the 3 Coins Special sandwich and I enjoyed it. The sandwich is a little on the messy side as it is quite packed but I was quite stuffed after finishing it. The price is quite reasonable as well. The only complaint I had is that the fries are the frozen variety and you can definitely tell.
I was quite impressed with service as our server came by to check on things fairly often; I never felt the need to flag anyone down.
Overall, I really enjoyed the diner and could easily see it being a place to stop by on a regular basis if I lived in the area.

This restaurant is great. It’s an old style diner that brings memories from the 70s and 80s. The food’s great it’s diner style. There isn’t much seating and parking is limited. This place is great though and it’s been in Richmond Hill for decades.

The atmosphere was cozy, the moment I walked in. I ordered the classic big bread fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and perfectly scrambled eggs and everything came out hot.

The pancakes were light and buttery, with just the right amount of sweetness. The bacon had that ideal crunch without being too greasy, and the eggs were creamy and flavorful. The service was quick and super friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to ☕🍳🥓

It was a pleasure to dine here, finally in this cozy diner that dates back to 1955. Lovely waitress, nice burger with real cheese and a nice pickle slice. The menu is huge and I want to try an omelette and so many other things.

Three Coins is such a gem! The food is always fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome every time. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, perfect for breakfast or lunch. Definitely one of my favorite spots—I’ll be coming back often!
