I’m a fan of barbecue food and udon and hence I love their lunch !!! I brought my mom here as well and she loves it 👍🏻 barbecue duck was crispy and grilled nicely ~ there was a good amount of veggie and udon ~ I wasn’t able to finish it and so I have to bring the leftovers home for tea time lol … waiter was nice and friendly and brought us hot tea when we sat down! Highly recommend!! 😃 oh and the price point is perfect !!! This lunch udon is only $9.99, which is insanely good 😆

Family run restaurant with good food! The lady is friendly and pleasant to deal with. Asked to pick up takeout at 3:30p but wasn't ready... I guess our requested hour is odd 😅.

This is a very pricey food court like quality restaurant very oily salty they put so many oil on their fry noodles and fry rice put tons of salt like cooking oil and salt they got it for free 👎 and dinner also very oily & salty the taste and quality did not match their price tag 👎👎👎

Today we ordered a lunch special- Roasted Duck udon with only $9.99 cad.
This is absolutely a great deal!!
The roasted duck is very tasty and we are so happy that it comes with some veggies as well, making it a balanced meal!
We would definitely come back again for this good deal!

I ordered a lunch special of eggplant with beef and rice for $13.99. The food itself was good. When I checked out, the total came to $15.81 including tax, which I paid.
After the payment was completed, the owner looked at me and said I did not give any tip. I acknowledged that, and he immediately asked why I didn’t tip and then demanded that I give him $2, even offering to swipe my card again to add the tip. I told him that tips are optional, not required.
He continued questioning me in an angry tone with a nasty look on his face. I explained that I lost my job in mid-November, this was my first time eating out in over a month, and I am currently on EI, so I have to be very careful with my spending. He said that didn’t matter and insisted that tipping is “the culture” and that customers must tip at sit-down restaurants. He then lectured me and said that out of 100 customers, only one person is like me.
There were no signs anywhere stating that tips are mandatory. I have always understood tipping to be optional. This interaction made me feel extremely uncomfortable and pressured. Good food, but the experience with the owner completely ruined the visit.

We got lots food today. It tastes like decent Cantonese fair - nothing special but very homey, and nothing egregious. The highlights are the steamed fish, stir fried peashoot, sweet and sour pork could be crispier but still good. Lowlights were the lamb stew - very tough and needs salt. Red bean soup too thick. Reliable place with great hospitality but the food could be slightly improved.

The server told us the tip was usually 10% even though we gave them a tip that was a bit less than 10%. The audacity to ask a customer to leave a 10% tip was rude and very unprofessional. Would not recommend a kind of customer service like this. Very rude indeed and made us stunned that the man would ask us for a bigger tip, save yourself the money they want from you and go somewhere else.

Very friendly service, great price and delicious food. This place is a hidden gem and not chaotic like your typical Chinese restaurants. I always come here if I want a night out at a peaceful and delicious chinese dinner with the family.

Taste good and fresh with good price 👍
my go-to kitchen for years. For the price - taste and portion is unbeatable. Talented chef. Lunch special takeout is especially unreal in 2025 cost environment.
Welcome this new restaurant in Richmond Hill / Markham area. The food is nice (and can be less salty). The price is reasonable. The attendants are also friendly, diligent and attentive.
It will be a bonus if Hong Kong style milk tea will be available!
Anyway, a delightful and delicious experience with this kitchen.
