Ushi Shabu Shabu

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my ninety-one-year-old grandmother's birthday. She loved eating hot pot, so I decided to bring her here. But the service there was so bad. She almost came out here crying. I am a kimchi lover myself but the kimchi there was soggy and it tasted like fish balls, I hated it. The air was also so humid and it had a very thick smell. I will never come here ever again. Please don't go there evee.

One of the server think he is funny but I found him very unprofessional, annoying and not helpful. Went on a weekend at 6pm to see their menu have items sold out already, even steamed rice? we already cooking our own food, you guys can’t even start a rice cooker? ….. The only dessert on the menu chocolate mousse tasted like a disappointment. We have 4 adults 1 baby and they put us in a small table and my husband has to sit on the end of the table with people walking by his back constantly. Not a baby friendly place. Should just put a sign by the door” Don’t bring your baby” make it easier us. I rather pay the same price go somewhere else that cares about customers than this restaurant( all the other restaurants we been to with our baby, they always make sure we are seated comfortably). For the amount of items that said sold out, they just scanning money. Waste of time, waste of money.

I love this restaurant!! Lunch is very reasonably prices with lots of food to bring home too. I wish they had another branch in Los Angeles. I'd be visiting often!

Derek was the highlight of our girls’ night out! He was funny, attentive, and gave the best suggestions. Aside from the amazing service, the food was also amazing with lots of variety even for the classic beef selection. It was a fun experience and highly recommend for those who want a break from the traditional dinner. We also were celebrating our friend’s birthday and they even provided a really nice birthday surprise as well. We were all stuffed by the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend.

My cousins and I recently ate dinner at this location, and I have to give great kudos for the consideration and help they gave us for our cousin that had a peanut allergy. On top of this, the food was amazing; quality was through the roof. However, the highlight of the night was our server Derek, his service, personality, and humour made the meal that much better. As my cousin with the peanut allergy put it, "if your server ain't Derek, then your server is generic" haha. Great dinner and atmosphere; would definitely recommend and return.

I went with friends on Monday night, and I paid $43 for the basic beef level. Yes, $43 includes tax and tips. I think it is the best deal in town. It doesn't offer the most variety of food, but all the regular items are available. They also offer high-end beef option for a much higher price. The atmosphere is 3 stars because half of the restaurant is empty. But if you want more quiet dinner, then it is a 5.

This was my 3rd time here. The past experiences were all good but this time we had a great experience with a VIP room. Every time I visit, I am always blessed with really good service. The server Derek who deserves high praise, served me in all of my visits and he is pretty funny and accommodating. As for the food, they had a lot of variety. You can mix it up as much as you want with their variety in broth, sauces and meat. Wide choice of meat such as lamb, beef, seafood, etc. Overall, love the experiences here and am looking forward to return again in the future!
