Came here for breakfast as we were in the area. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food is subpar. Meals are overpriced for what you get, $7 for a glass of orange juice? $3.50 for crappy diner coffee? Bacon was so burnt… overpriced eggs & fruit… there are many other better breakfast places for the same or equal price that taste much better. First and last time I’ll visit Wimpys.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart. I cannot remember her name but she was so cheerful and attentive. On our way out, she even gave us a lollipop! The food was like any other basic diner food, which was what we were craving, but the strawberry nutella milkshake was a standout!!

Great service from Brenda. I ordered a strawberry and Nutella milkshake and it was incredibly delicious. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with lots of old 70s and 80s decor. Lots of booth seating and a couple bar seats. Would definitely return in the future.

Our waitress Brenda was very unattentive, she did not come by to check on us once. Took over 15 minutes to bring our food over, after it was already sitting on the counter, and only did so when I got up from our table to ask her to bring it. Even then, instead of being apologetic she told me that she had to enter some other orders before bringing the food to our table, in a very rude manner. We will never go back to that location.

I recently visited Wimpy’s Diner at 10800 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, and it was a very enjoyable experience. This was my first ever experience being in canada from the past 4 years and have never had this issue. Me and my other 3 family members went to dine in the restaurant.. we just ordered for 1 large salad, poutine and a few drinks. And there was this blond lady i guess she was the manager of the restaurant.. she said that you guys can't share food and dine in the restaurant so we had to take out. She said that was their weekend policy. I have been to so many restaurants and never had this issue. This is really bad.. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone.
