A hole in the wall. The food was delicious! Super small restaurant and everything is in Chinese. You can request for an English menu but I feel like it doesn’t show everything listed in the Chinese menu. They have a vip card that you can purchase for $20 which gives you discounts on each of the dishes. The servers were nice and tried to explain things to the best of their abilities.
It is our favorite restaurant which has very unique and tasty dishes from southern part of China. The price is at the higher end, but they have many yummy dishes that are not available anywhere else in Greater Toronto Area. Everything we ordered was full of flavors, service was consistent, sometimes can be a little slow, the interior and music are vibrant, elegant and pleasant. They recently launched membership, which we signed up, which gives access to cheaper price and afternoon...

Its known for their authentic shanghaiese food, so i decided to give them a try as i was cravings xlb 小笼包 and fatty belly meat 红烧肉.
Def need to make reservation, and its a relatively smaller reso. I would say 4-6 people is max… if more, it will be quite challenging to chitchat.
I would highly recommend their steam pork buns and lobster with spicy and crispy...
