Moreover, after Ye’s food, I cannot even stand the taste of most of other pastries, including the ones that used to be my favorite. They are now either too sweet, too artificial, too much flavor enhancer, or too much margarine. That’s how unbelievably good Ye is.

Cake box and MAHUA （deep fried sweet dough）are the best!
It started with the Youth League, and every time I came to Toronto, I would book a bunch of them with the boss and take them back to the village. Never disappointed. The latest Oubao I tried is the one with the most fillings I have ever tasted. Unlike those made in some stores, the fillings are as big as egg yolks. It is just a cake.
Kid-friendliness: The sweetness is moderate. I am afraid that too much sweetness will lead to bad eating habits.
