The claypot rice(bo jai fan), the pan fried bun, the soup, the stir fry veggies are all amazingly good! Beats a lot of Chinese food that I have ever ate. The owner(chef) is a very nice lady and a great chef. Would definitely come again!

Absolutely amazing clay pot rice, soup, skewers and even dessert! The lady knows how to make over 100 tasty dishes.

This is a top feast for pescatarians. They have so many ways of cooking fish: steam, bake, BBQ, BBQ in hotpot, deep fry, stir fry + vegies.... different types of fish of different sizes. Add the bonus of tasty vegetarian delicacies. There is no other place like it.

Like other people said, this place changed owners.Someone was sleeping in the back, the food turned from northern Chinese to Southern. Seems like a family business rather than a restaurant. They couldn't light the fire properly and the bbq corn was not cooked. There was ice on it.They forgot one of our orders and it took forever for the food to come. The BBQ was good though and the lady was super nice but would not go again. This place really downgraded.

I was under the impression that this is a Mainland Chinese dumpling and skewer place (based on their menu), but it turned out to be a Cantonese restaurant. That said, food was delicious but not cheap.Service was extremely slow. We were there for almost 2 hours and still didn't get all of our orders. It's more like a beer/tapas place where you can enjoy a long chat with your family/friends. But average wait per dish was like 20 minutes. My other concerns are that the tables are very close to each other. A lot of the (seemed to be) regulars were very casual, hovered over tables and went behind the counter to refill their tea. With COVID and all that, I felt uncomfortable with the situation. We did like the food a lot. Everything we tried was great/fresh, so might visit again when COVID is over.

Recently decided to take a chance with this restaurant, turned out really really great. Overall the food was very delicious and the portioning was spot on. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try some Chinese bbq skewers in the area. My only problem here is that they’ve staffed 1 person at the time of me eating here so the service is somewhat slow, but thats too be expected with someone both cooking and taking orders.

ALERT! Updated Jan 2020.This place changed owner! I ordered two typical dishes I really loved before but the flavour and portion changed totally!!! It is extreme UNfresh! I had several pieces but threw the bean curd roll away because it tastes weird!! And smells bad too!!!! Please Don’t go!!!! The waitress was always on her phone and went away to the store next to the restaurant!! Please don’t go this place anymore!!Good food and place is quiet. Not really busy.

Great place, very surprised when found it by accidentally passing by, truly Northeast Chinese food, great price with great food, large amount, what I post here is after we almost finished. Sad we don’t live closely. Highly recommended to Chinese from Northeast.

If the last time you came to this restaurant was before 2020, be aware that the owner has changed and the food is no longer good.I am a Northeastern Chinese food lover and this place was one of my favorite restaurants. Me and my family had been to this restaurant so many times over the past two years. It is so hard to find a restaurant has food with such good taste, low price and big quantity.I went back again around a month after they changed the owner. And I just had my worst dining experience. When I walked in, I heard kitchen people and the server were speaking Cantonese, then I realized it’s not the same team any more because the cook was northeastern people. But that’s ok we were still gonna give it a try. Then we see the lamb skewers, the quantity got smaller, and it tastes extremely salty. The cucumber salad is completely different(not in a real northeast way). The dumplings are soo bad. (To show you the difference, the one in the plate was from last year and the one in takeout box is from this time) Normally the dumplings will come fast but this time the dumplings came the last and it’s overcooked, you can’t even get it with chopsticks without breaking it. What’s worse, they only put a little bit of meat in it and the meat doesn’t even taste good.Only star is for the service, she tried hard. But the food was too disappointing.Definitely not coming back again.
