Yu Sushi Takeaway （food Court & takeout）

Saw a few negative reviews and was cautious. But it turned out quite decent for the value received.

The place is at a food court best for take out or quick bite. It is good quality for mass feeding. Platter is customizable to avoid random fish.

The cashier did take away the receipt taped on the bag, without asking. Overall a good experience comparing to similar places.

This was a great find when I was on a trip to Toronto with my daughter. Very friendly service, one meal fed both of us, and it was a great value

We ordered the 100pc Sushi Sashimi and Roll platter (AM100) and a half pound salmon sashimi. It was awful. The seafood tasted off and clearly wasn’t fresh. To top it off, the imitation crab in the California roll still had the plastic wrapper on it. Dangerous and a health hazard. For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. We couldn’t even eat most of it. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place if you care about quality or food safety.

Good value for money.

Driven by a lot of good reviews here, I tried this place last week and determined this place as one of the very worst sushi places in the city.

The sashimi were not fresh and thinly sliced. I saw someone commented the veggie they used for decorative purposes was yellow and the owner denied such an accusations. I had the same experience as the other person. I am sure the veggie had turned bad a few days before it was served in my platter.

I ordered the sushi and sashimi platter for $75 for 4 people. When we opened the tray, there were many rolls with just straight up cucumber and avocado which was a tenth of the tray. The sashimi was not fresh and was very thinly sliced. The sushi was also not fresh and the rice was not fresh as well, dry and has been cooked well before ordering. It kept on falling when trying to dip into the soy sauce. Even the vegetables on the tray for decoration was not fresh and had turned yellow. All in all, I would not recommend this place completely.

I discovered this sushi takeout place on the Swingbuy app. Would never have known about this place. Decent quality for price including drinks for my promotion. Can’t ask for more. I’ll have to try their regular menu next time

Typical sushi takeout. Reasonably priced

Ordered my standard Assorted Mix 60 pieces yesterday. Been ordering from them for past 2-3 years. Know they have new owners but pieces are noticably smaller and same price. I know times are tough for restaurants but the same is true for customers. I don’t feel there is the same value in their trays after yesterday’s order.
