Great food, ambiance and service. Great to be able to chat and catch up with friends without all the surrounding noise. One guest found the bread used for his sandwich could have been fresher. But over all we all appreciated our meal

Friend brought a pizza over for game night, had better pizza from a $10 store bought. Sad

I went here tonight for dinner. Cocktails were good. Bread ‘service’ was bad. Burger was good, seafood pasta was good. Brownie was bad, likely from a grocery store.

Our bill was $131 (after tax). I asked the waitress if I can leave the tip on a gift card, she said yes. I said OK use the remainder for tip, I gave her $150, so a $19 tip. She said, “ok let me check these for you”. She never returns to the table after taking my gift cards. I see her setting a new table, and say “is everything good”, she’s like “yep”. She doesn’t come over and say, “thank you, everything is good with the gift card”, just ignored us after I gave them to her. I am unsure why. $19 is an appropriate tip on a $131 bill post tax (the service wasn’t anything close to outstanding). This waitress did have a bit of attitude, very short with customers, comes across as though everyone is an inconvenience. If you don’t like people, work back of house.

If she would have been more polite, I would have given more than 1 star. Won’t be back, and will tell my network to avoid this restaurant, and the remainder in this restaurant group.

Management – guests go to restaurants for a positive experience, not to feel as though the restaurant is doing them a favour by allowing to eat there.

I enjoy every single time, I really do wish they would go back to the original style they served the mussels though. Great service and always prompt.

Wanted to try a new place for our anniversary and read some good reviews about 335 so i made a reservation and we headed into Ridgway. Over all the meal was okay but it took a while for the food to come out and the place wasn't that busy. The wait staff was a little disappointing. Listening to a waitress at another table and noticed ours never told us about the dinner special and missed a couple of the deserts options (this was at the end of our meal). She asked if we wanted more water and took our bottle away but never brought another back. We ordered the bread plate and it was okay but we thought it was odd that the bread was cold. My wife got the seafood pasta and it was good but needed some more sauce and for some reason there was only one scallop on the plate and it wasn't very hot.
We don't mind paying for a good meal but for the price we paid we could have gone to a much nicer place.

Looks like the response from the restaurant was just a PR thing as I have emailed twice with no response. So on to other issues.

The $15 martini was very small and watered down. When we ordered coffee the milk and sugar was brought on a plate which was fine but there was no spoon in the sugar cup. We had spoons for the coffee but there were in the filled coffee cup. I had to make a conscious effort not to put the spoon in the sugar jar after putting it in my mouth since there was no dedicated spoon for the sugar. I wonder how many people do that without thinking about it which make me kind of ill thinking about it.
Also listening to the wait staff talking loud about going to New York city for the lighting of the Christmas tree but not being able to see the Macy's day parade while they sat at the bar 15 feet from my table kind of took away from the conversation my wife and I were trying to have. After talking to several other people about our experience it seems this is the new norm for this restaurant since it was taken over.
Really don't think we would return.

We were seated at a table for 2 right beside the wine cage. It was cramped and kind of hidden, as well as right under the vent, so we got alternating warm and cold breezes throughout our dinner. Overall, it was not a great location and perhaps the table should be completely moved to another location. The server even mentioned to us at the end that it was the worst table in the whole place. However, our server was pleasant and helped describe the different menu options when we asked about them. The food was good. We will return and would recommend it to others.

END ADVENTURES

While I have been following 355 for a long time on Facebook, Chris and I, (Erin) had yet to make the 20 min trek to Ridgeway.

We came for lunch during a weekday in the summer. They were quite busy, but had some tables available in the back.

Atmosphere: First thing we noticed was how great the ambiance was. Trees growing through the deck and an open air dining area was inviting and gave the island vacation feel.

Food & Drinks: The sour dough pizza was the best restaurant pizza we have ever had. Maybe even better than Chris' homemade pizza. Drinks were reasonably priced, and served with presentation in mind. We will come back and try the seafood tower! (wasn't available on the day we were there)

We eat at 335 on a regular basis, and often bring visitors with us. The food is consistently excellent, with generous portions. While the servers are all friendly, helpful and efficient, we did find the service slow on this particular night. It took quite a while for a server to get to our table initially, and then to take our orders. I don't feel it was the server's fault - it seemed that the restaurant was short staffed. Our other experiences have always been positive, and, as I said, the food was excellent.

One of my favorite restaurants in southern Ontario. We've never had a bad meal here in fact always had good ones. Service is excellent, noise level is fine and the food is delicious.

Absolutely outstanding!!! Excellent service always, love the unsweetened ice tea, your pizza is the BEST that I have ever eaten, thank you always for a great experience.

We had a thoroughly lovely evening dining in this wonderful comfortable restaurant. The food is terrific...and comes out of the kitchen hot!! The pizzas are amazing....delicious....well seasoned with a great crust. I had the salmon which was excellent...perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned to bring out the taste of the fish. My wife had the falafel handheld which was delicious. The outdoor patio is very comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
