WOW! We saw this new company and decided to try the chicken cooked on charcoal, and we can say that it is the best chicken we have tasted. The chicken was cooked to perfection, it was juicy, very spicy, and excellent. We also have rice and plantain accompaniments, excellent too. My wife loves spicy sauces, and she was served with a really spicy homemade sauce prepared by the chef that she loves. So don't be fooled by the appearance of this little treasure in our beautiful city of Rockland because it is an excellent place to try new culinary degustations. We are now customers of this new place and our next order will probably be the ribs. Well done to the chef.

Visited this little hidden gem this evening for dinner. We wanted to try multiple dishes (chicken, goat, plantain, kwanga and pondu), although the wait was longer than expected, the friendly service and the FOOD was worth the wait. The portions were generous. Everything here is made with love. Will definitely be eating here again.

A sparse place for eat in, really not set up for that, but the food.... Slap your mama good! I forgot how good BBQ can be if you forgo propane and actually charcoal grill your food... I am getting rid of my propane grill and buying a proper grill this weekend!!

The half chicken and salmon with rice are delicious! My house smells so good everytime I order takeout from here ? The staff is also super friendly.
It was my first experience eating food from this culture. As soon as I got in the restaurant, I knew I would enjoy it. It smell so good. . We were served by the owner and she was really really sweet. We asked her to bring us the dish she recommended with side dishes to taste. She was as excited as we were to try something new. If you want to really enjoy it, make sure you have time and you won't be disappointed, far from it. I had the chicken with the plantain, it was really delicious. I also tried a vegetable dish but unfortunately I can't remember the name, but it was very good too. My friend had the rice and it was also very good.

We wanted to try something different than we usually go for so we decided to try some African/Caribbean food. We ordered the half chicken and rice. The chicken was full of flavour with great smoke flavour. My fiancé loved it. The rice unfortunately fell short for me - there wasn’t any flavour to it. I added some Goya (salt) and it was much better. This is a family owned business - mom in the kitchen and son at the front of the house. It was super quiet when I went in to pick up food on a Friday. This place defiantly needs more love and marketing. The food and service is great.
