I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in my life, I always hesitate to take my wife out to restaurants on Valentine’s Day so I did. Again my gut was right reservation was at 7pm and sat down water and drinks arrived at 8pm. Place was so packed door opening constantly feet freezing.now for the food wife had duck it was okay but not melt in your mouth and I had the sirloin well it was thin extremely cold not juicy whatsoever hard to chew. I returned my dish and the second plate was just as bad. So in the end I didn’t eat and paid my bill they wavered the 2 beers. Wow I should open a restaurant and charge everybody for bad food and be able to hold a conscience and charge full price. I know my food, I know the business but this is actually the worst dinner I’ve had in years sorry may the truth be told and to top the night the waitress slash owner had the audacity to tell me OH your the first to complain well anyone receiving a thin cold not juicy sirloin well you do the math no dinner and a $180 dollar bill. Lesson learned and your website pictures didn’t even look close to our dinner

This place is a hidden gem, and the food here is superb. Tried the braised short ribs and they were so tender, I could see them jiggle as the server was bringing it over. Tried a scallop dish and they were cooked to perfection. I can't believe there's cooking of this caliber in Rockland. 11/10 would recommend. I'm planning to try everything on their menu eventually.

We just went to Rosalyn’s for the first time last night for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Every time we drove by the restaurant we always said “ We need to go there one day.” Well we finally did!

Booked the reservation online. The site for booking was a little confusing. It’s set up like I was ordering food online, not a typical reservation format but I managed my way through it.

The decor is very nice and romantic, quiet background music, candles, felt like we had some privacy in the corner. The service was very good, we didn’t have to wait too long to get served, very good menu choices and the food was delicious! I had the seafood linguine and my husband had the fish & chips. We also ordered onion rings which wasn’t on the menu but they went out of their way to provide it for us! We were both happy with our selections. I have pics but was unable to attach to this review.

The only negative thing to mention was that the debit machine was out of service so we needed to pay with either cash or email money transfer. Not a big deal but mentioned to give you a heads up.

Our meal cost $100 plus tip. That included our meals and a beer and white wine. We thought that was reasonably priced. Rockland needed a more upscale restaurant with great food. There are many other selections we want to taste and will definitely be back! Support our local businesses!

Rosalynn Restaurant is a true gem that stands out for its fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of the dining experience is undoubtedly their homemade pasta, which is crafted to perfection. Each dish bursts with flavor, showcasing the chef's dedication to quality and authenticity.

What makes Rosalynn even more appealing is its reasonable pricing, making it accessible for everyone looking to indulge in a delightful meal without breaking the bank. The combination of delicious food, cozy ambiance, and affordability makes Rosalynn a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great Italian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Rosalyn’s is Rockland’s hidden gem. The chef’s specialty is Italian and his pasta is made fresh in house. The food is savoury and made with fresh herbs. The chef partners with local businesses to offer natural biological options, and locally made products. All food is Canadian. Pete and Alanna always offer high quality food made fresh every time and at prices you won’t see anywhere else for that quality. Be sure to try his appetizers and have a specialty wine while Pete cooks fresh for you, every time, every plate. Oh… and indulge in a freshly made desert… gelato is a must! The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and cozy, to make you feel at home.

For Mothers Day I booked brunch at Rosalynn’s restaurant.  Never being there before I was sure to ask questions when I called to book the reservation.   The first question was were we ordering off of a menu and I was assured we would be having a formal sit down lunch.  Upon arrival we weren’t greeted, a table hadn’t been set for us and the hostess seemed to not be happy and started screaming across the restaurant if we had a reservation that I assured her we did have.  While we stood and waited we were all in horror at the dirty restaurant.  The floor looked to hadn't been vacuumed for days, the table clothes were wrinkled up napkins poorly placed, cheap thin cutlery, no water was served and the worst was seeing a picked over buffet that had been sitting out since 9am.  Our reservation was for 1pm.  Who wants to go to a fine Italian restaurant and eat from a buffet that had been obviously previously eaten from?   My in-laws were horrified and suggested that we leave, but we decided to stay and make the best of it as it was Mothers Day and restaurants were full in their little town.  I chose Rosalynn’s because it had a high star rating and I thought it was a higher end place that would have impeccable service.  Was I wrong!  From here things just got worse.  The left out food was garbage, the drink orders were wrong, coffee served with no cream or sugar, no water on tables.  For the high end price of this place don’t waste your time or money.  There is no class, no service, and they sure don’t appreciate their customers that come to support their business.  This place should just close, what a hole and absolutely horrible service & food.
