We ordered the family plate and fried chicken from Shawarma & Grill Rockland, and honestly, everything was amazing. The portions were hugeâmore than enough to feed our family of four with leftovers to spare. The chicken and beef were both super flavorful and juicy, and the rice, salad, and potatoes were fresh and well-seasoned.
The fried chicken really surprised usâit was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had great flavor without being greasy. We also loved the garlic sauceâprobably one of the best weâve had.
Service was friendly and quick, and the place was clean and welcoming. Overall, a great experience. Weâll definitely be coming back!

The tray came loaded with juicy chicken shawarma, Doner shawarma, rice, crispy fries, garlic sauce, hummus, tabbouleh, pickles, and fresh pita breadâmore than enough for 4-6 people. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. The chicken was super tender with that classic shawarma spice, and the beef had great flavour too.

I noticed the recent review from Gaella Ace and wanted to share my completely different experience. Iâve been to this restaurant several times, and the food has always been excellent. The salad is always fresh, colorful, and full of variety â as you can see, the dressing comes in separate containers so nothing gets soggy, which makes the claim about it being âswimming in liquidâ simply not true.
The pickled turnips are perfectly tangy, the vegetables are crisp, and the flavors are balanced. The rice, chicken, and other dishes are consistently flavorful and well-prepared. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and handled with care.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys fresh, delicious, and authentic food!

I was so dissatisfied with our takeout. We live 20 mins away and it closed by the time we realized the rice tasted like water and looked like minutemaid rice, the chicken was so dry, the salad soggy filled with salad liquidy dressing that had our entire platter swimming in liquid. The pink pickles were completely off. They were thin and didnt even have that tangy pickle taste (for the ones who know what im talking about). Our humus sauce was like chuncky. Our garlic sauce had a bug in it. And we found a hair at the bottom of the rice. This was the worst Shawarma we ever ate. We thought we got the Shawarma Des Laurier but once we picked it up it was their location and said âWhy not try a new place?!â Instead regret. Never again. Will be going back to Shawarma Des Laurier where the food is amazing, full of flavour and well taken care of. I dont know why this place is still open. I guess we all have bad days?! You need to quality check your food. Waste of 65 $

I absolutely love the service here. The staff is so friendly and they really create a welcoming atmosphere. They will joke with you and will do there best to put a smile on your face. In addition the food is so delicious! Especially the sauce that comes with the fried chicken. YUM!
