The Old Mill House Pub offers amazing food and a great small-town atmosphere, making it a go-to spot. While the menu may not have been very vegetarian-friendly in the past, there are now vegetarian options available, as well as gluten-free burger buns and sometimes gluten-free pasta. The pub serves good quality food at reasonable prices, especially popular for wraps, sandwiches, and fish and chips. The staff, including Caitlin and her team, are friendly and attentive, making guests feel right at home. Although the wooden seats might be uncomfortable for some, it remains a family-friendly place earlier in the day, transitioning to more of a bar atmosphere later on. The pub gets busy on weekends, but the well-prepared cocktails and amazing food make the wait worthwhile. With a beautiful venue and incredible service, it is worth the drive for a visit, especially when special meals like the Thai chicken soup are on offer.
