Nice view.

Food is obviously made from a selection of frozen/heat and eat boxed garbage. Nothing is "fresh" - Seems like the menu was designed by typing "trendy food 2005/2015" into google.

A group of local friends and neighbors enjoyed Thursday night's special of chicken fajitas. The chicken sizzling on cast iron skillets, along with sautéed onions and peppers, was delicious. The selection of condiments, including fresh tomatoes, lettuce, hot peppers, sour cream, salsa, and grated cheese was generous (guacamole was available upon request). The ambiance was enhanced by the Christmas decorations and a blazing fire, making for a perfect place on a rainy November evening.
We'll be back soon!

Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to fish and was pleased that I can enjoy Caesar salad with a house dressing that does not contain anchovies.

Food is good, but the place is awful to deal with. Inconsistent hours, never answer the phones, randomly closed on days they advertise as being open.

Hard to build a loyal customer base when you can't never reliably plan on getting a meal.

Available here are typical pub fare of burgers plus, surprisingly, chicken souvlaki, which is a Mediterranean dish.

I enjoyed the chicken souvlaki and how it was well seasoned and flavourful.

For want of something different, I ordered the Apple & Brie Pork Burger ($21). As much as I want to say that it is an interesting new creation, it was not. The apple slices and the Brie cheese do not come together well with the pork burger.

I can see that the servers do try with the service, but it was unacceptable that they got the items in my bill wrong. I did not order any pop, but they had it initially added instead of bottled water. I pointed it out, and then they naturally corrected it after.

This brings me to the $1 bottled water. I understand that food establishments make good money with the beverage orders. I just personally feel that $1 is a bit too much for 1 bottled water. The waiter also could have at least mentioned the price of the bottled water order to us when our orders were being taken.

The food is pub-like, but I would not call
them a pub with a bar etc. It is a restaurant with a nice outdoor dining area looking over the water.

I had dinner here twice. I think the fries are a bit too dark brown, making me believe they should change the oil perhaps. The fish and chips is ok, but the fish is a bit dry.

Highly recommended are the fish taco's. You get three pieces. Very delicious. Not that spicy despite what the menu says.

We were approached by what we thought was a homeless woman about to ask for money but she was the waitress. Spider webs and fruit flies made us want to leave but we were hungry after driving from Ottawa so we chose what we hoped was a safe option of fish and chips. We were there about 7 yrs ago and it was clean and had good food then.
The fryer oil is dirty and the fish so greasy that we were both sick for 2 days.
This place needs a visit from the Ministry of Health
