Southside Restaurant is my absolute favorite! Their chicken on kaiser with onion rings is a flavor explosion that keeps me coming back for more. But wait, there's more – their chicken poutine is a divine indulgence, with tender chicken, rich gravy, and gooey cheese on crispy fries. The best burger I've ever had at a restaurant, we had the mozzarella burger and fries, the fries were crisp and golden.Worth a stop for a good lunch ,a wide variety if choices on the menu.The owner uses fresh meat to make the burgers, made fresh every day,and you can tell the difference from frozen.Parking: Large parking lot in front

Normally good....but would like them to update hours of operation....as drove as distance to come back and they were closed....even though it said open at 11 am online .....won't be back

We wanted to try this restaurant. All signs were lit, saying open. Door was locked. Sign on door stating 'back at 4'. Pretty disappointing. It's off the list. Update your website if you decide to lock your doors.

I understand that this is a small town restaurant in expectations should not be that high. Called ahead for a bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. And did not get what I ordered the taste of it was nothing to write home about. If restaurants and small towns want complained about not being busy. this is the reason why zero ever put in. Please do better

Family restaurant, good variety of Fresh foods on the menu, and have specials that aren't on the menu, I had Teriyaki Chicken with Rice and it was excellent.My husband had the southern fried chicken with fries, he enjoyed it and he wasn't sure if the fries were hand cut but he said they were good

Stopped in for lunch today because I was in town working. I ordered the 2 peice Haddock and chips. Not only was the meal amazing the service was aswell I would highly recommend.

Ok so before you decide to stop here and eat... think very carefully. It's not good... quite simply not good at all.It was a hot day outside, and an even hotter day inside. They don't use their air condition so it was dank , humid and smelled like dirty grease.The prices are something special. You see a specials board when you come in. Fish and chips 2pc 17.95... then you see the menu fish and chips 16.95... so you're thinking maybe one is a dollar more but you get something extra... NOPE they forgot to attach a new sticker to the menu. The server had zero personality when we were in. I mentioned the open sign was accidently switched to closed... she shrugged her shoulders and said " it happens"... post covid youde think she would have ran and changed it around right away. Nope!!! Another customer came in and mentioned it. Still nothing from her.So we got the two piece fish and chips which was haddock. Imagine what you would normally get for one piece of fish... then cut it in half and thats their two piece dinner. The chips weren't fresh cut... cheap frozen fries, and a paltry amount at best. I gave it 2 stars as the fish wasn't half bad... even tho it was half of a regular portion. The place was dirty and dingy. The condiments at the table were all sticky and gungy. Clearly the serving help is lazy. As there wasn't anyone in there and that's something that usually wiped down a few times a day. Luckily they had hand sanitizer at each table. I'd probably have to be famished before I'd eat here again. It was also have to be a decent 18 degrees outside... nothing worse then being sticky and sweating when you're indoor eating.

Told us they weren't cooking breakfast with eggs and then served a customer a western. Last time I looked you needed eggs for that.
