Had a great time at Jacobs Grill. Had the fish and chips and my kids had the Cajun shrimp fettuccine. It was pretty quiet because outside was super cold. Our server was lights out! Antonette was so welcoming and kind to our family. She gave us some good advice on the menu. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back and visit the bakery after.

We met as a group for lunch. Food was great. Service was very good. Kitchen was running a little late, so manager brought us some complimentary nachos and salsa. Much appreciated.

The only reason for a rating of 2 is because the waitress was excellent. Three of the four plates ordered were over cooked. Brussels Sprouts were badly cooked and the two German pork schnitzels were deep fried and cooked to hard boards. It almost seemed that the chef did not care on how the plates were presented and the food cooked. As the Stone Crock it had a great reputation but now as Jacob’s Diner it is definitely questionable.

It was the first time we ate at Jacob's Grill. A pre Christmas dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. The tables are not crowded together so we felt we had a cozy spot by the window. It was great to see the lights decorating the street outside. Our waitress was fun and friendly. I had the smoked pork chop with brussel sprouts and it was fantastic. Local meat, so juicy with a maple glaze which mixed with the grilled sprouts. The roasted potatoes were perfect. Definitely go again.

This was one of the worst meals that I have ever tried to eat. I had the steak frites, and the steak was lousy, thin cut, overcooked, greasy and unseasoned. The brussel sprouts were just flakes of burned charcoal. The french fries were fine. It would be bad enough if this was a $20 entree for this garbage, but it was $35+. It was so disappointing and terrible that I have decided to write my first restaurant review to spare anyone else this experience. The restaurant was almost empty at a prime time which should have been a red flag.
The only benefit, and it was a great benefit, is that the person I shared a meal with was wonderful. For that alone I will never forget this experience.

A lovely eatery after a stroll at the market. It's their 50th year anniversary this year. The grill also connects with the bakery and the meat market. Every time we come for the Sparks, we would stop by here. The food is decent.
