The food here was amazing and met all of our expectations. I had the soup of the day and shared a burger with my mom. Excellent views of St Jacobs from the patio where we sat. Ten stars!!

I won't order GF pizza again, soggy crust and needed more sauce.
My husband got his soup; but waitress didn't hear his request for a quesillada, didn't get it until after I was done.

The service and food were both great . I had pizza fresh made crust , my wife had a burger and salad. My wife said her burger was good as well as her salad. We would recomend if you are in the town of St. Jacob's give it a try.

No water delivered with arrival, asparagus with main course was so badly overcooked it was extremely wilted and had burnt edges, when complained it was replaced with the same level of preparation. Side order of potatoes wasn’t delivered until our entrees were finished.

This place screams the European market! Everything you want in a market is there. Local products, an amazing bakery, a terrific pub, etc. I absolutely loved every step of discovery in this gem. Stupendous!!!!

Shout out to our server, Blythe. Sorry for the late review!
Sirloin steak was great, vinegarette on the salad was perfect, the maple breakfast sandwich was so yummy. Staff took care to keep my daughter's plate free from gluten contamination.
The service was a little slow, but you could tell that everyone was super busy, and the servers were all great. I also don't mind the wait to get an awesome dish.

We came to the Farmers Market from Toronto and on our way back we had lunch at St Jacobs Grill. The food tasted great and the service was exceptional. A sweet lady with pretty blue eyelashes served us and created a wonderful atmosphere to go along with our yummy food. Overall it was a great time.
Thank you!

Food was delicious, I'm Celiac and they have substitute buns , moist Nd not crumbly with great flavour. I recommend the Steak Sandwwith the Gluten-free bun and salad greens side...high in protein 😋 and yummy

Good food. We waited a while for our food. There’s a nice vibe that we enjoyed the prices could be a little better for what you get. But overall pretty delicious, clean. It was too hot to get something from the bakery but maybe next time.

Very disappointed! 😏😣
We came in super hungry and we are not picky eaters at all.
First thing that totally got me off was the number of flies, so many of them - I had to wave around after every second bite. Service was mild, had to ask for cutlery, kids menu and water for our kid.
But the food - oh boy! The food was horrible. Kid got burger (no bun, ‘cause we noted the egg allergy and their buns contain eggs, but no alternative was offered). Burger was completely tasteless and cold. On a side two 1” RAW carrots and celery sticks. My beet root salad was very cold, beet root chops entirely tasteless. Hubby ordered an extra chicken that was scarce and overall burnt, also very poorly seasoned.

July 24th, my very good friend and I decided to go to Jacob’s Grill (JG) for lunch after a long time at St. Jacob’s Market. We didn’t make reservations, regardless we had no trouble being seated.
There’s a parking lot plus free street parking.
Once inside, we were taken aback by how huge and gorgeous the restaurant is. The wood tables and comfortable chairs with ceramic floors, white walls, black ceiling lights, interspersed with strings of white lights is incredible.
The restaurant is on the right of the building plus a bakery/coffee/cold drinks to the left. A hall connects to the Stonecroft Market with a Pub. Such a great idea.
We both ordered the beet salad with greens, feta, red onion, walnuts and chicken. Such a refreshing and healthy salad. We loved it. A very good selection of salads, fish and chips, steaks, burgers, wraps, etc. you’ll definitely find something you like. JG has options for kids as well.
I had a peach fresh pressed cider which was thirst quenching with wonderful flavour. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it all.
I can’t say enough about the wait staff; very attentive, sweet, kind girls. Thank you!!!
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND you won’t be disappointed!!!! 😄❤️❤️❤️
