Good ice cream
DQ in Sauble Beach has the best staff. Quick and responsive. The whole team was having fun. Not an easy job slinging cones and parfaits. Hats off to the Ice Cream Queen Sam behind the counter. The new owner must be pretty good if the staff are this happy and well trained.
This DQ Crew in Sauble Beach made our night! So energetic and fun! The best hot fudge sundae with Spanish nuts ever. Give these kids a raise!
Honestly the very best place to get ice cream at the beach! The new owner Sood is a rockstar! Thanks for all that you do and the locals that you hire. #localicecream / #goodpeople
How someone could serve this with a straight face is beyond me. Then when we complained, we got attitude not apologies.
Absolutely disappointed with my visit to this Dairy Queen at Sauble Beach. I traveled all the way from Mississauga and ordered several treats, expecting to redeem the free Dilly Bar offer printed on the receipt after completing the survey. However, the staff were rude and dismissive, insisting I needed to download an app and wait 24 hours — which makes no sense for a same-day promotion.
To make matters worse, the manager came over and told me that since their store is “seasonal,” they don’t honor the promotion at all. If that’s the case, why are they handing out receipts advertising the offer in the first place?
False advertising, unprofessional behavior, and zero concern for customer experience. This place clearly doesn’t care about delivering what they promise. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money here.
Staff was quick to serve our large group.
A Sauble staple--Dairy Queen! Cause why not watch the sunset with a blizzard?
The staff is very responsive and quick at completing orders, and they do not cheap out on toppings!
I believe i got ripped off today. Got a banana split and a medium blizzard for $19.19. Seems quite steep and the new system order and pay at one window then pick up at the next. They don't call out the order. They just start placing ice-cream at the window. Not cool. It's almost like Tim hortons service!!! Totally bad! Do better.
Good but Dairy Queen is starting to get pricy, over 15$ for some regular sized blizzards. Still great though

Asked for the smallest size for 4 cones for my kids, was upcharged for bigger cones that i didnt ask for which ended up costing me an extra $6. When brought up to the worker the issue was not resolved
I had almost given up on Dairy Queen because of poor experiences the last few years. The DQ in Sauble Beach was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by three friendly staff members and served promptly. The Blizzard we got tasted great and had quality ingredients. Some DQ outlets have stale ingredients and use an unfortunate ice cream mix that has a fake taste and texture. The folks at the Sauble DQ are doing it right!
Nova’s review said it the best!
I’d like to add, great hours 12-8, lots of DQ parking and seating available for large groups.
Fast and kind service
Dairy Queen is the go-to spot when you’re craving something sweet, familiar, and comforting. From their signature Blizzard treats packed with mix-ins to perfectly swirled soft-serve cones, DQ delivers that nostalgic taste every time. The menu’s a mix of childhood favorites and dependable fast food, with friendly service that keeps folks coming back. Whether it’s a quick stop on a summer night or a cozy dessert after dinner, DQ always hits the spot with its classic charm and creamy goodness.
