Mixed bag experience. My parents room was great, seemed recently updated and looked nice. My room was quite outdated, but still very clean.The location is great, the view of the river is fantastic. They were even very accommodating for a late check-in.My biggest complaint is the thickness/insulation of the walls. We could hear the TV from the next room and were barley able to sleep all night.

There are no mirrors in the room, no housekeeping until you check out, AC barely works. However, the location was beautiful and we were offered free bikes and kayaks which was nice. I made a special request and they replied saying we’re too busy for that. Great, thanks ?

We were really pleased with our stay. Our recently renovated room was very pleasant. The owner was really friendly and helpful. The new cafe with gourmet coffee and tea is a great addition. And you can't beat how close to the beach it is- just a short walk.

The staff are friendly, the view is amazing and the room was clean. A beautiful river view sunset. The beach is only a short walk away. It was nice to have a kettle in the room along with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.

We have stayed here several times, we love our rooms especially since they renovated the smaller bathroom. Friendly, price is good, location great items to do great.I don't even miss the dinning room.They have a coffee and that's all I need.I recommended this place to family and they came up this year too. I don't write reviews often but Dana and her team were very nice. Thanks from r oom 14 &16.

This was our first stay at KitWat and will be back! The room and bathroom were very clean and had a great mattress. Had multiple pillows on bed to choose from. Amazing views on the waterfront. Beach a short walk around the corner. Location is perfect being not far from the Main Street of Sauble but far enough to not be loud or lots of traffic. Appreciated having kayak/Canoes/bicycles to use! Great service, went above and beyond to accommodate any requests!

Arrived yesterday and was created from the owner, very nice people. The place is very nice and clean, I have the River front room with kitchen and a nice deck facing the river. I guess it was recently renovated.. I’ll bet I will have a wonderful stay at this motel.Rooms: Very clean! Confortable beds.Nearby activities: To be discovered

A fantastic weekend at KitWat. Could not beat the view! Close to the main part of Sauble yet far enough away that it isn’t noisy or busy. The room was clean, really comfortable mattress and multiple pillows to choose from. Great service! Loved our stay!
I was so excited to go to Kit Wat, as a child I went with my parents, and extended family, as an adult with my children. However due to the decline in past years we stopped going. The new owners have done a lot of work and it shows. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by 2 cleaning staff in the parking lot, both wishing us a nice stay. Going into the lobby ( the old restaurant) we were again greeted with a friendly face and offer of coffee. We were not informed of her name but as we were talking it became clear she was the new owner. During our conversation we were told of the free bikes, boats, coffee, and BBQ that was available, unfortunately we did not take advantage of any amenities however look forward to going back and utilizing all they have to offer. The room was very clean, with a fridge, coffee maker, kettle and desk. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the in room air conditioner cooled the room nicely during the heat wave. The balcony in front of the room had 2 bar height stools and table that offered a beautiful view of the river while we enjoyed our coffee. There is also patio tables and chairs on the river for guests where my husband and I had our dinner. If I had a negative it would be the lock to our room didn’t seem very secure.I highly recommend Kit Wat, we had a wonderful stay and we look forward to going back.

The rooms were so cozy and comfortable with the most serene environment. The hospitality was second to none as well. The owners Brad and Dana went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. I would highly recommend their resort and will most definitely be back soon!

Its ok. The location is great. The ability to use a few canoes/kayaks is cool, but the paddles are mostly worn out. The bbq's will not burn consistently or not at all (old and worn down af). Bathrooms are quite small and for germaphobes.And a not so pleasant interaction with one of the staff. Pleasant and helpful service alone, could definitely bring up the standings. Good price tho. And good local grocer across the street with fair prices too.
