We celebrated my wife's birthday and the food, atmosphere and service were impeccable. A complimentary brushetta bread sample was delicious, as well as the fish and stuffed chicken meals the presentation and herbs in the food made a huge difference in the experience .A nice piece of terimasi given to my wife was beautiful as well as a lemon shot brandy from Italy was a nice way to end the meal. The owner/ Chef even came over to our table...class all the way!!!

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant in Canada, with an Italian chef bringing authentic flavors to the table. The dishes were incredibly delicious, and the presentation was perfect. The use of fresh ingredients and traditional Italian recipes made every dish stand out. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

This was my first time here. I came with my wife for our anniversary dinner and everything was perfect. It's in a bit of an odd location but it works! The vibe inside the restaurant is cosy and intimate. The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back. This is one of the best restaurants in the Soo.

Food, service and atmosphere were all impeccable. The owner even came out to greet us and gave us a special dish on the house. Although the prices are quite expensive, the quality of the food and experience were well worth the expense. We all left feeling satisfied and rosy cheeked, not just from the fabulous wine, but from the experience. The chef and owner have a clear passion for their craft.

Antico is a local favorite and has always been a go to for any friends and family visiting from out of town.

The dishes all are refined and full of flavour. The appetizers stand out the most, the shrimp putanesca and the blackened scallops are truly delicious. The deserts never disappoint either, the tiramisu and my personal favorite the limoncello cake.

This restaurant really feels like the chef has made it his own. You really get a personal experience here, as Chef Arturo takes time (when possible) to talk with guests and make sure they enjoy their meal.

We were just at Antico restaurant for my nephew's birthday & WOW!!!! This place is beyond amazing!! I'd give it a 20 out of 10 if i could!!! The owner came out to greet us as soon as we sat down. What a gentleman!! The waitress Cathy (with a C) was such a delightful person. Excellent service!! The food, the service, the music, the ambiance .... all worth every penny. I very highly recommend this place to anyone. Dress up or dress down, you'll fit right in.

The Chianti was nice! Crostini were stale, escargot sauce was bitter. Portions were half the size they were 6 months ago. Mains were ok, not worthy of the price. The figs with mascarpone were excellent, again portion sizes though, much smaller than earlier... Service was great!

It was a great dining experience: my friend and I sat for three hours and savored our way through the menu from appetizer to dessert. We had no issue finding parking as there are spaces on the property and street parking as well. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is amazing; not to mention the great service! The chef and owner even came out to greet us and I thought that was just wonderful! Many thanks to Lindsay (or Lindsey maybe) for her wonderful demeanor and hospitality.

I had : cheeseballs ( in tomato and basil sauce I believe) followed by Veal Saltimbocca and sealed off with Tiramisu.

My friend had: arincini followed by a Greek salad with Tiramisu for dessert.

Neither of us drink alcohol so we opted for tea and iced tea.

It was a great way to spend the evening, highly recommend! 15/10 :)

What a wonderful Italian Restaurant. I truly enjoy the open kitchen. I often eat dinner sitting at the bar. At Antico you can chat with the owner/exceptional Chef. The repast is exceptional. I was in Sault Ste Marie for work. Arturo peppered two different appetizers for that were not on the menu. One was gamberi Arabiata. Shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce. The shrimp are the largest I have ever seen. My entree was always created after Arturo and I had a discussion about what he was featuring and what my palate suggested. Always exceptional. I’m heading back to the Soo for work soon. I definitely will make Antico a part of this trip. Last trip I was up for four weeks with four visits to Antico. This trip will be the same.

Antico never fails to impress, and is my go-to restaurant when someone visits the Soo for the first time.

Even when dealing with a full house, the service is cheerful, very knowledgeable about the menu (including the extensive featured offerings), and prompt when it comes to handling your entire meal.

Every time I've dined here, the chef has made a tour of the dining room, checking in with the diners, and is a constant delight in describing the food, the restaurant, and the artwork that adorns the walls (many painted by himself).

The cost does make it a special occasion meal, but the quality of the experience more than justifies the expense.
