The staff was friendly, the beer was cold. This place is great. I'll be back next time I am in town.

Takes 1 hour to get the order, every single time I’ve been here. Rude staff who take 20 minutes to take your order, disappear for an hour, and then when you ask for your food they are very rude instead of being apologetic at all. Go there if you want below average food, 1+ hour wait time for scrambled eggs and rude staff.

After waiting for being seated for more than 30 min we had to wait approximately 1h to receive our order. The food was an 4/10. The atmosphere was good tho. And the service, honestly not sooo good.

Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food when 5 other people who arrived after us were served and were eating before our food even arrived,when my poutine arrived it tasted like someone dropped a salt shaker in it. We once again asked and said about the salty taste,the waitress said well you ate some after she was told about the taste. Poor service,won't return again.

Everything is amazing. The food is all made in house and made to order. Service is impeccable and the atmosphere in the resteraunt is a different experience throughout each season. Highly recommend.

I tried their breakfast a few times and it was pretty good. Came back to try their lunch menu for the 1st time and was disappointed. I asked for no mayo on my sandwich, but they had put it on so I informed the waitress who took it back to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, she brought me back a new sandwich and what seemed like the old fries because they weren't very hot. However, that wasn't the issue. The new sandwich didn't have mayo but it also didn't have any bacon and was slathered in some kind of BBQ sauce which was not supposed to be on the sandwich and which I did not want. The waitress didn't come back to check on the replacement sandwich so I ended up eating it. My lunch companion was about halfway done their lunch by the time I got my replacement sandwich and I didn't want to cause further delays. Besides, who knows what the kitchen would have decided to serve me on their 3rd attempt at getting it right.

Brought my wife here for a date and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated,finally got my table had to wait another 10 minutes for thrm to bring us a menu the table was dusty and all the condiments were so sticky i couldnt even touch them... but after we ordered we sat there for 50 minutes to even see our food. The food was very amatuer i got the canyon burger was very bland do they even own pepper? The wife got the steak and eggs the eggs were okay but the streak was burnt and super salty and her toast was cold, Wouldnt recommend this this place to anyone

i ordered a Ruben,,,was the worse Ruben I've ever had....they fried the pastrami and it looked burnt....advised the waitress, she said thats how they always cooked it....i didn't eat it......terrible burnt meat.

Never even got our food. Waited over an hour, waitress never even came back to top up drinks. We sat there with two children under ten and a 14 month old. Staff argued with me when I asked if I could just pay for our drinks and go, they insisted multiple times it would be the next meal up but none of the meals sitting there were ours, However there were people that came in after us and they were getting their food, sitting down to eat and leaving. Very disappointed, don’t waste your time or money here.

First time we tried blockhouse.
the idea of the food sounded delicious.
ordered a jalapeño popper grilled cheese. waited a while (it was busy - understandable) and my bacon in my sandwich was raw (ok maybe a slight char on some spots but mostly raw).
server never came to check if we needed anything during our meal (again it was busy)
but I ended up drinking my child's drink since I didn't have a refill or an offer for a refill.
I'm sad about my bacon :(

We came here for my fathers 83rd birthday and the experience was terrible. Over 20min for someone to take drink orders as well as they took forever to bring drinks than it was almost 1:20 min before we got our food and the meal was not very good my daughter found a hair in her meal they did comp us for that. Over all bad service mediocre food. Poor service. Would not recommend
