Fluid Boardwalk Patio and Grill

Vegetarian's beware. The selections are very limited. There's a dip that's vegetarian and an appetizer (falafel). I got the falafel, which was delicious, but I left hungry. Even the salads all have meat! My omnivore friend was very happy. Me not so much. Service was excellent but I went directly to Subway afterwards.

Christina was a fantastic server, it was our first time in Canada and the food was delicious and she gave us great recommendations on what to do!! She was so polite and kind and answered all of our questions, if we’re ever back we’ll be asking for her!!

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Fluid Boardwalk Patio and Grill. We had to wait over 30 minutes just to be seated, and once we finally ordered, it took another 40 minutes for our food to arrive—far too long considering the restaurant wasn’t even at full capacity. When the food did come, it was extremely basic in taste and presentation, lacking any of the quality or attention to detail I would expect from a Marriott restaurant. For the price and the brand name, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, this was not an experience I would want to repeat.

First time visiting as we're not from the Soo. Seems like a great place with a great atmosphere. Service did seem slower than most places but I can't say if this is typical or not since we've never been here before. However, the food was fantastic and well worth the wait.

Service actually wasn't great. I felt like we were burdening the server. We are new to Canada and there wasn't any recommendations or engagement with us. Spin dip was good, and tuna sandwich was ok. Great view, but felt unwelcome. it's a shame

Waited 20 minutes for a server to come over to our table of two to welcome us and take our drink order. Could’ve been longer but my friend got up and approached the hostess stand. They didn’t apologize but just said “we’re really busy”. The patio was full but the servers weren’t moving around like they really cared about providing quality service. I had crab cakes which were disgusting. Something was off about them. They were also $25 for two small crab cakes and 1/2 cup of diced veggies. Once our food came, our server never came over to ask us how it was or to bring us more water. We were afraid to order drinks because we didn’t want to wait forever for them. When we were done we had to get up and approach the hostess stand again to ask us for our bills. My friend had what was supposed to be a falafel bowl but it was three falafel patties on a small bed of quinoa with some pickled red onion on top. We weren’t sure if these were dinner or appetizers because the menu didn’t specify and we were not told anything about the menu. Absolutely terrible experience and not the only one I’ve had. The service is always horrifically slow. I keep giving it another chance because the atmosphere is so beautiful. Perhaps I should stop…

Lovely dinner and service. I had the haddock, and my wife had the lamb burger. Both are delicious. Pets are not allowed.
