Gino's Fired Up Kitchen & Bar

We are repeat customers for a reason. The ambiance is always great! Often loud but that's ok. The service is great and our waitress Morgan was wonderful! Drinks and food all came in a timely fashion and the food was amazing as always! The only sad part about our experience was that I learned our favorite server Shannon was moving away 😔 She will be missed.. Other than that, we had a great dining experience!'

We were 9 people altogether. I had chicken parm and did not like the spaghetti sauce. My sister had the lasagna and didn't like it! My husband loved his fish dinner! My brother in law had the fish and thought the batter was too thick!

We were on holidays and stopped for supper. Waited 20 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated they were quick at taking our drink and food orders. We ordered an appetizer which came quickly. We were there for 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting for a pizza. After that hour and 20 minutes our pizza just went in the oven. The waitress Shannon was very pleasant but we left paid for the drinks and appetizer. Didn't get our pizza. If I'm ever back to Sault Ste Marie I will not go there. If you are in a hurry I don't recommend

I want to start this review by saying I've been going to Gino's for a decade and had a high opinion of it going into this latest experience.

It's had a 5 out of 5 from me for 7 years.

If you have food allergies or are dining with someone with allergies, it would probably be a good idea to call ahead to ensure your visit will be satisfactory.

I took my son to Gino's for the first time and he has a severe dairy allergy. Not a lactose intolerance, but food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) that triggers a severe reaction any time he eats milk protein. It's not great.

Mentioned the allergy to my server as I normally do at other restaurants. Usually there's a bit of a conversation and perhaps some adjustments and we can find something he wants to eat and that won't make him sick.

Unfortunately, the server and the kitchen at Gino's couldn't confirm what had dairy and what didn't on their menu.

We played it safe and he had two burger patties, no bun.

There also were other issues with our visit: food took a very long time to come out once ordered, an item was missed on the order, and the bill was wrong.

I can brush that off as just a bad day for the crew, but not knowing food allergens needs work and support from management.

Im against this kind of place philosophically, but the pizza was really good

Service was excellent. Megan was so attentive. We enjoyed our visit and all enjoyed their food.

Ordered chicken Parmesan. Could not cut through the pressed chicken. Got another one but same thing. Paid the $25 or so and very disappointed. John Martens

One plate was luke warm. The salad was soggy. The dirty plates were not removed in a reasonable time line. Had to ask twice for bread. The rest of the food was very good.

We sat outside, was a bit cold, also need to be aware of the mosquitos also eating dinner. Sadly outside in the corner also means we didn't receive all of our drink order until an hour after we'd been seated. The manager was kind to excuse the price of the apps for our inconvenience though.

Excellent wood fired pizza and great service from Meagan!!! Will return.
Hope they change the heavy metal music playing in the restaurant.

This was our first visit and I was drawn in by the gf pasta. Service was great-our server was pleasant. It was Mothers Day and we made reservations and the meal was served promptly. Dishes were delicious! Hope to see gf bread in the future?!

Always a great experience our waitress is the best anytime we go. The service is excellent. I recommend it to anyone anytime from anywhere.
