Gliss Steak & Seafood

We tried this based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Bathrooms are not accessible that I could tell, down many dark stairs. We were there on a Monday, very quiet. I was served rancid wine, but that was quickly rectified. The seasonal all you can eat whitefish was wonderful, we both had it pan fried. More than either of us could eat. I would have like more choices on sides. Good service, very quiet.

Fabulous restaurant! All the entrées tasted fresh and delicious+generous portions. Such a wonderful experience to dine here. The wine suggested by the waitress was also really nice. Friendly service and amazing atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone in town.

Went to make a reservation but they closed as is September 30th according to the voicemail. Now a one star based on anything other than to let people know that they’re closed. Looked good, really wanted to try.

I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Tasty, big portions for fine food, and the staff was top notch, listened to every request. 10/10. Left with a doggy of mains, and would recommend the steak and twice baked with shrimp and drinks.

Feels like you're dining at home with service that makes it seem like you're the only one there. Nothing ordinary about the meals and something for every appetite. You will be glad you tried it.

We ordered for New Years Eve and the food was phenomenal! Beyond words to be honest. We had the steak and shrimp, white fish, seafood stuffed salmon and ribs and everything was scrumptious. We will definitely be ordering here again and look forward to when we can come and join you for dine in. Oh and I have to give great compliments to Jen who was beyond helpful and just sweet. Thank you for make our first New Years in the Soo an enjoyable one (food wise anyway).

I took a hot date here and he said he could cook a better meal from home. The salad was fresh, the marinara and pene was not. Also, the staff openly discriminated against customers based on their medical status.

You always get your money's worth and more at Gliss. Cozy, intimate, with friendly staff and huge portions. The best steak in town, fresh seafood, and creative takes on traditional entrees and apps. Fresh baked desserts are a nice subtle small town touch. Enjoyed the visit from the chef de maison to our table as always. My family's favourite dining spot.
